@FatGuyWithAKatana Why would I get sued, you bought it and broke laws not me, and the person who sold it is liable not me. I simply am going to make replacement parts for the 42 since Bitchmade can't seem to do it for its own customers, and I am going to make my own version of it.
@uwanaugoda Good maybe they got a clue because of this video and it should stay up to remind companies not to behave the way Bitchmade did and still does.
You shouldnt assume chinese made items are crap, and you shouldnt assume US items are crap, it's the quality control that matters. Also, did you really boil a pot of worms?
Wrong or right, it's a companies decision where to have their products manufactured and how it's distributed. if you would have bought the knives from an authorized distributor you wouldn't have the legal troubles you have/had? now. You got caught selling counterfits. Why be mad? Don't play the game if you don't want to pay the cost when/if you get caught. If you want to blame someone, blame customs for letting counterfits in. it's their job to pick up on counterfit products.
That is actually wrong the authorized dealers were selling the same items, there are alot of knives that don't have patents, lets see like BOKER because they are a German company and they don't hold US Patents, so clones or copies are not illegal, the industry has many companies that have their items copied and the copies are legal because the companies have no US patients.
Lets get the story straight, I sold 11 items in 9 sales and got the items from a distributor, I did no import the item.
So, with that said Benchmade demanded I pay them $15,000, that I disclose all the customer records with their personal addresses and contact details, that I stop selling all butterfly knives not just stop using the word balisong, but to stop selling them and to release all the customer info. This is why I said they were full of shit, right from the very beginning. Then it progressed into all the BOKER, Smith & Wesson and Schrade issue with the top lock safeties, which I pulled the locks
They claimed they owned the lock system, so I pulled the lock and removed them and told all other sellers not to sell them with locks anymore because I didn't want to see the scumbag company go after them.
So if you get counterfeit money in a transaction of point to point sales, you are guilty of counterfeiting? Seriously are you guilty?
No you are not, you are the victim. So yeah, why don't you understand I am the victim here, I bought from AUTHORIZED DEALERS and this happened.
@Roadsideimports Something is not right then, if you purchased the knives from an authorized Benchmade dist, why are you being sued? they should be going after the dist is he is augmenting his stock with counterfits.
I want American manufacturing to return too. Thing is, the United Steel Workers of America needs to be eradicated. Unions will be the death of manufacturing in general.
Did Benchmade ever produce a knife in the U.S.? I had bought one for duty use a few years back and thought they were. I was going to purchase another auto from them but after seeing and hearing this shit, Forget it. Thanks for the info, Great Vid.
@StMichaelsCrew yes benchmade did and still does I think, the red class is made in china-garbage, the blue class is made in the USA-used to be GREAT but now it's also garbage
Stop complaining. You were trying to sell patent infringing products for a profit. If you are shown to be in the right, you can recover your legal fees. I own several Benchmade products, I would consider myself a fan of Benchmade. After watching your video, I will go out and buy more Benchmade knives. I bought the Benchmite KNOWING that the red line is made overseas. Makes plenty of sense to me. It is not the American Consumer who is ignorant, it is you.
Another idiot Bitchmade fanboy. I sold 11 items in 9 sales which I got the items from the two wholesalers that are being sued almost a year after my case. So lets see my damages are for $200 worth of sales and no judge in the us has ever given more than 5% royalties on patent infringements. So to settle this Bitchmade tried to extort me for $15,000 when a court ruling if I lost would be for $10.
Then they tell me I can't use the word "balisong" because it infringes on their trademark BALI-SONG
Get the hell out of here.
So the US Patent Office got the case for me to revoke this name and mysteriously the idiots at Bitchmade dropped this from the case only after I refused to be bullied.
Then they told me that I could no longer sell Boker Magnums and Kalashnikovs because they owned the locking system.
So I removed the lock since that was their bullshit claim and they can't do shit.
Not to mention the parts and pieces and then the ones that are assembled from this junk are made by illegal immigrants. Way to go, enjoy your crap that you buy.
Taiwan is not part of china you whining douche. Taiwanese products are vastly different then chinas shit. The only reason its labled "republic of china", is because china wants taiwan to be their territory. Taiwan itself does not agree to this. CChina themselves gave taiwan the name becaue they are complete communist faggots. Yes, of course benchmade wants things cheaper, but taiwanese steel manufacturing happens to be one of the more finer industries. So dont go douch on shit u dont know about.
Wrong dipshit. Taiwan is a Province of China, it is where the original government went after the Communist took control. Taiwan is apart of China, and this is a global view by the fact that they have no UN representation. Yes, Taiwan produces things better than mainland China because they developed industry earlier.
So keep your douch comments to yourself you Benchmade fanboy. Bitchmade is a disgrace to America and Les De Ahole should be ashamed of himself.
No it is not fair, I have no problem not selling what they claim as their trademark, I sold 11 of them in 9 sales and said I would pay them the damages of 5% which no judge has ever awarded more than this. They did not want their $10, they wanted 80,000, which is insane and extortion.
I was not the one who imported this, I was just a end seller only selling 11 of them, so they need to go after the importer and wholesalers not the little piss ant sellers.
Nope that is not true. I had no knowledge of their patent on the knife, they gave me know warning of this patent, which is not valid to sue over either. There are plenty of copies of knives, Boker, Smith & Wesson, Dalton to name a few all are legal because they don't have patents at all. When someone does have a patent then they are suppose to disclose this info and then ask people to stop selling like SOG and Kershaw do. Kershaw and SOG are respectable companies, Bitchmade is not.
I bought the Pika II a while back and it was the worst knife I have ever handled. The jimping was too rounded. It took a lot of force to get the blade open there was unrepairable blade play and it came pretty dull out of the box. The Benchmade Pika II is literally a big middle finger in your face from Benchmade. My friend's cheap 8 dollar knife he got from BIG 5 outperforms it.
am i the only one who thinks its strange how at the end of the video your saying how stuff coming out of china sucks so bad yet you are the one selling product from there...
Like I said in the video about import bans. I have to make a living so if there is nothing to sell other than shit from China then that is all that can be sold. Why don't the US companies start making things that made in the USA again and make quality things.
Oh I fucking forgot they all went bankrupt, 11 major companies shit their pants and are now gone. Then the biggest American companies make shit in China and then import it. So where are the good quality goods at affordable prices?
It sounds personal rather than being a "business" issue. Why is BM suing you and not the people that rip off the design or import the offending product? Because they can. Might makes right and BM is trying to strongarm you into not excersizing your right to free speach so they sue YOU in an effort to silence your critisism. That sucks but, sadly, it's the American way. Is there a chance the courts might look at this as a "freedom of speach" issue? Is BM violating your right to speak freely?
The volcabulary you use says more about you then about Chinese.
You confirm to the rest of the world : the stereotype US american really exsist
Mean / Selfish /Dominant/Egocentric
and ignorant of what really goes on in the world .
Example:
How many US patents are ideas from abroad , stolen and monopolised by americans who patented the inventions of others and in fact make the inventor an illegal producer? After all patents aren't a Chinese invention but maybe theycan patent patents 哈哈
I actually agree with you more than you think. I think that the US patent laws are corrupt, because you are right there is alot of abuse with stealing designs from people outside the US and inside as well. Then also true that the stereotype does not really know what goes on outside of their sphere of influence but that is typical of humans in general regardless of race and creed.
Then not all Chinese products are junk just the ones that are sent to the US.
Third and forth rate goods get shipped to the US because the quality demanded is poor. Europe requires first rate goods and demands a higher quality and hence also pays for it as well with goods from China, but the US standards are so low and the disposable mentality is that cheap goods are desired.
This may not be true of all Americans but it is true that the corporations control this factor and push such goods.
The point to the video is that Benchmade and American Staple Company uses it name notoriety to misconvey that the product is good.
The truth is that the item is poor quality and made to third and fourth rate goods by design of planned obsolescence. This is not the Chinese fault but the corporations that deliberately do this.
Then you have the same items being sent by the Chinese from import companies which is the same quality but the one with the American name is perceived to be superior.
But the real truth is there is nothing different about any of the two because they both are poor quality but marketing strategy to use ignorance to market good under misconstrued concept is the common place for corporate powers to pedal goods to the ignorant masses.
You understood why I used it, some crazy Japanese people where cooking them, I don't want to know either because that shit is so nasty, I'm gagging thinking about it.
Thanks for clearing that up, most of us understand these facts. The Benchmite is a Red Class piece of shit, Benchmade sells it for $40 and the guys out the back door sell it for $2.25 and they are the same thing, junk.
Then you have the black class Infidel sold for $450 which is a piece of shit and a failure and a very unreliable knife with a weak spring, a $50 Italian made knife out performs it. For a $450 price go with Microtech instead.
Who needs the risk Benchmade sells overpriced junk.
@tomh1426 Well, any company that outsources at least part of its production lines to the main land of China is doing shit. I stopped buying products of several companies at the point I received first item they manufactured in China, not in US as in the past. Guess why: not out of principle, but the day you start using it you discover it is way poorer quality of materials, workmanship,... If you buy shit made in China, you are paying 10 times more that you think you do, as you will throw it away.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I used to view Benchmade as a quality knife maker. Until this video, I hadn't realized what Benchmade was doing. I really hope Benchmade has no customers anymore. If they're gonna do this to their customers, they can go kill themselves.
Yes, I hope they go Bankrupt as well. They are disgusting with how they behave. I am glad some people are beginning to see the problem with Benchmade and how they conduct business.
That is the truth, some moronic Benchmade fanboy claimed the piss poor spring in the Infidel is the safety feature. Right and driving around with your headlights on during the day reduces accidents because you can see better.
Good point, I think I agree with that. They sue people because they can, that is the corporate philosophy in America so they can crush out the competition and destroy small businesses from even beginning to make it.
If you ask around on how many people are being sued by Benchmade the numbers are quite alarming but most settle and then have non-disclosure agreements because Benchmade doesn't want people talking about it. To bad that I let everything out to the open. The world needs to know.
if a strong spring goes off in your pocket thats gonna cut you and its price makes up for its strength look up benchmade infidel test, it is a working knife and could be used for mil/le
That is complete bullshit. The trigger should have the strong spring to prevent unintended deployment, this is what Microtech's have. It takes quite alot to trigger them, and so does the Benchmade it is not going to go off in your pocket, the top mount triggers have a higher chance then the side mount trigger that is true. The spring on the knife is weak period and will fail over time with use and will stop locking up. The only use for the Infidel is to open mail with it that is it.
You are comparing a piece of shit made in China that I sell for $19.99 to a piece of shit made by Benchmade that sells for $450. Well, the comparison is quite valid they both are pieces of shit but one is one expensive turd that is for sure when you get the same crap result.
I'd also like to add that this is worse than Elementary School fundamentals. You are without a doubt not at fault here. Of course they're going to point the finger at you, but sadly enough they're only doing it because it's easier for them. Instead of taking the time to figure where they're coming from they go straight to the seller. They're not going to both with time, research, and evidence because its simply something they can't find or are too lazy to try to find. Good luck.
Well, you got the point that buying items made in the USA is a viable solution, but remember just because some company is a US company does not mean that items are necessarily made in this country.
So Benchmade is not alone is this tactic, Kershaw, SOG, Smith & Wesson, Schrade, Taylor Cutlery, Al Mar, Remington, Colt, and the list goes on.
These companies all do have some models made in the USA but also in other countries mainly China.
My point is even trusting a brand name is deceiving.
So really if the item is stamped made in the USA from these companies this is the product that should be bought over all the rest but unfortunately not all people can afford this and some products now don't even stack up to the ones being made outside the country and this is a shameful and disgraceful demise to America.
Their really is no viable solution to this because so many people have dirty hands not just with knives but our entire collapse of our country.
What truly sucks is that guys can't take refuge in anything anymore not even knives because they to are in the political scope of bullshit. The corporations have globalized the planet into a shameful and disgraceful collective taking away the individual and replacing it with an uneducated collective that can't see this happening or anything for that matter.
For every one engineer our country produces there are 5 lawyers who graduate and start practicing law.
to be fair you state that the infidel is bad cos it cant fully pierce paper but with a strong spring going off in ur pocket thats gonna hurt also the cupid extractor 1600 cant open fully whithout paper even just holding it
Let me get this straight. If I had a benchmade product imitation and I sold it to a friend because I didn't want it anymore I could end up in a lawsuit? Incredible.
I guess there is 1 simple solution, buy USA based knives.
Never owned a benchmade and definitely never will. A company who strives on trying to protect something they didn't even create and blatantly stole another companies designs is not something I'll ever support.
That is where stupidity comes in for you, when I stated I did not know they had a patent on this model period.
There are many knives that do not have US patents. America is not the planet either so that is why the Chinese sell things all over the place. Americans get the short end of the stick and if you can't see that then you truly fit into the collective problem of ignorance and an uneducated American public and that is a sad state because you pose the biggest problem to the country.
Look Taiwan up, it is a rough state to the Republic of China. The UN did not allow Taiwan to have representation because it is considered apart of China. Read the CIA information as well on this matter.
Read the statistical data on who live on the island with regard to the population and ethnic groups as well.
The Taiwanese very well view themselves as an independent nation but the world does not and that includes the US by law at this time. It is a political mess with this subject.
So your comparison from Mexico to Spain is invalid and is a very poor statement to say the least.
Taiwan is officially apart of the Republic of China therefore when something is apart of a collective it to can be called China weather the people like it or not.
You can call Scottish people British in the same sense and they will not enjoy you doing so in some situations. That would have been the political situation that you should have reference to make an analogy to.
You are English and I am Scottish born in the UK both Brits and I can tell you go to Glasgow sometime and tell a Scotsman that he is British and you will for certain piss a few people off in the pub that is a guarantee.
The instances are stupid, so you don't need to be lecturing me about my own country we need to unite and keep the immigrants out whom do not want to integrate into our society and whom are destroying our homeland and trying to enforce their stupid laws upon us.
You are right, I put that for a reason. I got asked to carry lower end models by firefighters and fishermen because they told me they lost their knives regularly and wanted something cheap but also dependable for a short time frame. They said simply that a $50 to $100 knife is not in their budget to be loosing weekly.
So I never would have thought about the reasoning behind getting cheap things like this, but I had to put the warning for all the people who were not like them.
What is crazy is that I have a Cheap Shit Warning but how can Benchmade should be in this warning as well. Not for being cheap from monetary value but for being cheaply made. Both the original Benchmade model and the clone are from the same place. So which one is junk? The one out the front door or the back door?
We also have to remenber the kid who did not feel safe using his benchmade liner lock folder. I don't know about you guys but I would be PISSED OFF if I paid the price benchmade charges and could not use the knife.
I agree. You are not responsible. The people who illegally bring the knives into the country are at fault. Benchmade is clearly too stupid to find the root of the problem, if they cut off the importation of the knives then they can't be sold. This is why America is becoming so corrupt, you are not at fault. Good luck
This is great, now I have people understanding me a bit more when things are put into context. I am glad I am not alone with these feelings because I am worried about America and what is happening.
If Benchmade can behave this way and ruin people's lives and start frivolous lawsuits against Americans then the abuse of our governmental system is evident in this course of events and should be clear to everyone what really is at stake here.
This may seem kinda dumb to say but, when your in court, ask to pull up these comments and show how people support you while Benchmade tries to bully people with their lawyers. You clearly are a smart guy JB you know what your talking about. Ill try to buy some more knives soon so I can contribute to your cause : )
Yeah go on with how much of a waste of valuable court time this issue has been and confiscate the $16.50 from bench made. Leaving $1.00 But tax Bench made on the $35.00 accordingly. After all thats said and done they would be in the whole. Then fine Benchmade to recope your legal costs! Report this situation to the IRS so as they can not deduct it off income taxes.
It might be beneficial to keep going on, this way Benchmade can spend more money in this whole ordeal and sue everyone and violate the 1st Amendment they:
infringe the freedom of speech
and
infringe the freedom of the press
So everyone he is guilty of defamation in Benchmade's view because I am being sued for releasing this information as well.
So I hope people set aside how much they personally dislike me and see that Benchmade is violating the constitutional rights that we have.
Very true, and I want to make a point of letting the information to be well known to everyone that I possibly can so that they are aware of what kind of company Benchmade is.
you have my full suppourt in dealing with the corporate american scumbags. Its a very sad thing when an american like myself has to insult my own countries companies. The american dream isnt "Hey! Lets make money by rapeing the american public with overpriced knives and then suing everyone that has them!". The american dream is "If i work hard i can make enough money to live an enjoyable life."They should have asked you for the profits and the names of the people who you bought the knives from.
Exactly, just like Kershaw and SOG do, they behave like gentlemen and are respectful companies to deal with and understand the issue because those two also make knives in China and understand what comes out the back door. Then they know not to destroy American businesses that sell their products along with everything else because it is in their interest to remain in good standings with the consumer public.
Benchmade truly is a morally corrupt company run by defunk principles.
Hopefully they will go bankrupt over all this, this is my goal now. Their lawyer's goal is to make me go bankrupt over this whole ordeal and so I wish the same upon them.
I hope more and more people see the issues with the entire lawsuit with Benchmade.

Example:
How many US patents are ideas from abroad , stolen and monopolised by americans who patented the inventions of others and in fact make the inventor an illegal producer? After all patents aren't a Chinese invention but maybe theycan patent patents 哈哈
Tiliaeuropea 2 years ago 3
I actually agree with you more than you think. I think that the US patent laws are corrupt, because you are right there is alot of abuse with stealing designs from people outside the US and inside as well. Then also true that the stereotype does not really know what goes on outside of their sphere of influence but that is typical of humans in general regardless of race and creed.
Then not all Chinese products are junk just the ones that are sent to the US.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
Third and forth rate goods get shipped to the US because the quality demanded is poor. Europe requires first rate goods and demands a higher quality and hence also pays for it as well with goods from China, but the US standards are so low and the disposable mentality is that cheap goods are desired.
This may not be true of all Americans but it is true that the corporations control this factor and push such goods.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
The point to the video is that Benchmade and American Staple Company uses it name notoriety to misconvey that the product is good.
The truth is that the item is poor quality and made to third and fourth rate goods by design of planned obsolescence. This is not the Chinese fault but the corporations that deliberately do this.
Then you have the same items being sent by the Chinese from import companies which is the same quality but the one with the American name is perceived to be superior.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
But the real truth is there is nothing different about any of the two because they both are poor quality but marketing strategy to use ignorance to market good under misconstrued concept is the common place for corporate powers to pedal goods to the ignorant masses.

Red class benchmades are NOT made in America and they dont hide that fact, they are cheaper knives with cheap hardware and average steels.
Blue class knives are more expensive, they are made in america and use premium steels, they are very high quality knives.
They also have gold and black class knives.
Basically you get what you pay for, Benchmade makes some very nice high quality american made knives.
tomh1426 2 years ago 14
Thanks for clearing that up, most of us understand these facts. The Benchmite is a Red Class piece of shit, Benchmade sells it for $40 and the guys out the back door sell it for $2.25 and they are the same thing, junk.
Then you have the black class Infidel sold for $450 which is a piece of shit and a failure and a very unreliable knife with a weak spring, a $50 Italian made knife out performs it. For a $450 price go with Microtech instead.
Who needs the risk Benchmade sells overpriced junk.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
@tomh1426 Well, any company that outsources at least part of its production lines to the main land of China is doing shit. I stopped buying products of several companies at the point I received first item they manufactured in China, not in US as in the past. Guess why: not out of principle, but the day you start using it you discover it is way poorer quality of materials, workmanship,... If you buy shit made in China, you are paying 10 times more that you think you do, as you will throw it away.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I used to view Benchmade as a quality knife maker. Until this video, I hadn't realized what Benchmade was doing. I really hope Benchmade has no customers anymore. If they're gonna do this to their customers, they can go kill themselves.
AdamMJYo 2 years ago
Yes, I hope they go Bankrupt as well. They are disgusting with how they behave. I am glad some people are beginning to see the problem with Benchmade and how they conduct business.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
ok so there you go otfs are good knives single or dual action
nunchaku101 2 years ago
If I had my choice nunchaku I would not use an OTF for tactical use. I would prefer a fixed blade or a side manual thumb stud/hole opening model.
One grain of sand and your OTF will fail!
Raegoul1 2 years ago
oh ok but you say an otf is not for military use what about microtechs military otf knives i.e. the halo knife
nunchaku101 2 years ago 3
That is the truth, some moronic Benchmade fanboy claimed the piss poor spring in the Infidel is the safety feature. Right and driving around with your headlights on during the day reduces accidents because you can see better.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
suing people for the money is understandable if you're a cheap bastard but benchmade does it for no reason
they really should do something more productive with their time like i don't know, make better products
theartilerysheller1 2 years ago
Good point, I think I agree with that. They sue people because they can, that is the corporate philosophy in America so they can crush out the competition and destroy small businesses from even beginning to make it.
If you ask around on how many people are being sued by Benchmade the numbers are quite alarming but most settle and then have non-disclosure agreements because Benchmade doesn't want people talking about it. To bad that I let everything out to the open. The world needs to know.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
if a strong spring goes off in your pocket thats gonna cut you and its price makes up for its strength look up benchmade infidel test, it is a working knife and could be used for mil/le
nunchaku101 2 years ago
That is complete bullshit. The trigger should have the strong spring to prevent unintended deployment, this is what Microtech's have. It takes quite alot to trigger them, and so does the Benchmade it is not going to go off in your pocket, the top mount triggers have a higher chance then the side mount trigger that is true. The spring on the knife is weak period and will fail over time with use and will stop locking up. The only use for the Infidel is to open mail with it that is it.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
ok but what about the cupid extractor 1600 that has a weak spring ive seen in videos btw I still support you against benchmade in the lawsuit
nunchaku101 2 years ago
You are comparing a piece of shit made in China that I sell for $19.99 to a piece of shit made by Benchmade that sells for $450. Well, the comparison is quite valid they both are pieces of shit but one is one expensive turd that is for sure when you get the same crap result.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
I know what you mean
nunchaku101 2 years ago
why are you cooking worms?

I'd also like to add that this is worse than Elementary School fundamentals. You are without a doubt not at fault here. Of course they're going to point the finger at you, but sadly enough they're only doing it because it's easier for them. Instead of taking the time to figure where they're coming from they go straight to the seller. They're not going to both with time, research, and evidence because its simply something they can't find or are too lazy to try to find. Good luck.
JHartlove 2 years ago
Well, you got the point that buying items made in the USA is a viable solution, but remember just because some company is a US company does not mean that items are necessarily made in this country.
So Benchmade is not alone is this tactic, Kershaw, SOG, Smith & Wesson, Schrade, Taylor Cutlery, Al Mar, Remington, Colt, and the list goes on.
These companies all do have some models made in the USA but also in other countries mainly China.
My point is even trusting a brand name is deceiving.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
So really if the item is stamped made in the USA from these companies this is the product that should be bought over all the rest but unfortunately not all people can afford this and some products now don't even stack up to the ones being made outside the country and this is a shameful and disgraceful demise to America.
Their really is no viable solution to this because so many people have dirty hands not just with knives but our entire collapse of our country.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
What truly sucks is that guys can't take refuge in anything anymore not even knives because they to are in the political scope of bullshit. The corporations have globalized the planet into a shameful and disgraceful collective taking away the individual and replacing it with an uneducated collective that can't see this happening or anything for that matter.
For every one engineer our country produces there are 5 lawyers who graduate and start practicing law.
What does that tell you?
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
Thats just plain ugly!
Gabe7g 2 years ago
to be fair you state that the infidel is bad cos it cant fully pierce paper but with a strong spring going off in ur pocket thats gonna hurt also the cupid extractor 1600 cant open fully whithout paper even just holding it
nunchaku101 2 years ago
JB,
Let me get this straight.
JHartlove 2 years ago
The fact is simple: If you sold these knives when you knew you could get sued then you're just an idiot.
masterkeedo 2 years ago
That is where stupidity comes in for you, when I stated I did not know they had a patent on this model period.
There are many knives that do not have US patents. America is not the planet either so that is why the Chinese sell things all over the place. Americans get the short end of the stick and if you can't see that then you truly fit into the collective problem of ignorance and an uneducated American public and that is a sad state because you pose the biggest problem to the country.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
i agree with you, but, taiwan isnt in china, thats just being racist, like saying spain is in mexico.
ChuChews 2 years ago
Look Taiwan up, it is a rough state to the Republic of China. The UN did not allow Taiwan to have representation because it is considered apart of China. Read the CIA information as well on this matter.
Read the statistical data on who live on the island with regard to the population and ethnic groups as well.
The Taiwanese very well view themselves as an independent nation but the world does not and that includes the US by law at this time. It is a political mess with this subject.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
So your comparison from Mexico to Spain is invalid and is a very poor statement to say the least.
Taiwan is officially apart of the Republic of China therefore when something is apart of a collective it to can be called China weather the people like it or not.
You can call Scottish people British in the same sense and they will not enjoy you doing so in some situations. That would have been the political situation that you should have reference to make an analogy to.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
in reference to the scotish briish thing scotland wales and northan irland are all britain what you should of used is to call scottish english
purebreedbiker 2 years ago
You are English and I am Scottish born in the UK both Brits and I can tell you go to Glasgow sometime and tell a Scotsman that he is British and you will for certain piss a few people off in the pub that is a guarantee.
The instances are stupid, so you don't need to be lecturing me about my own country we need to unite and keep the immigrants out whom do not want to integrate into our society and whom are destroying our homeland and trying to enforce their stupid laws upon us.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
You are right, I put that for a reason. I got asked to carry lower end models by firefighters and fishermen because they told me they lost their knives regularly and wanted something cheap but also dependable for a short time frame. They said simply that a $50 to $100 knife is not in their budget to be loosing weekly.
So I never would have thought about the reasoning behind getting cheap things like this, but I had to put the warning for all the people who were not like them.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
What is crazy is that I have a Cheap Shit Warning but how can Benchmade should be in this warning as well. Not for being cheap from monetary value but for being cheaply made. Both the original Benchmade model and the clone are from the same place. So which one is junk? The one out the front door or the back door?
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
We also have to remenber the kid who did not feel safe using his benchmade liner lock folder. I don't know about you guys but I would be PISSED OFF if I paid the price benchmade charges and could not use the knife.
Raegoul1 2 years ago 4
I agree. You are not responsible. The people who illegally bring the knives into the country are at fault. Benchmade is clearly too stupid to find the root of the problem, if they cut off the importation of the knives then they can't be sold. This is why America is becoming so corrupt, you are not at fault. Good luck
twistedman25 2 years ago 7
This is great, now I have people understanding me a bit more when things are put into context. I am glad I am not alone with these feelings because I am worried about America and what is happening.
If Benchmade can behave this way and ruin people's lives and start frivolous lawsuits against Americans then the abuse of our governmental system is evident in this course of events and should be clear to everyone what really is at stake here.
If I loose then the rest are in serious trouble.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
This may seem kinda dumb to say but, when your in court, ask to pull up these comments and show how people support you while Benchmade tries to bully people with their lawyers. You clearly are a smart guy JB you know what your talking about. Ill try to buy some more knives soon so I can contribute to your cause : )
twistedman25 2 years ago 4
Yeah go on with how much of a waste of valuable court time this issue has been and confiscate the $16.50 from bench made. Leaving $1.00 But tax Bench made on the $35.00 accordingly. After all thats said and done they would be in the whole. Then fine Benchmade to recope your legal costs! Report this situation to the IRS so as they can not deduct it off income taxes.
Yes JB I'm a wee bit of a prick
Raegoul1 2 years ago 6
It might be beneficial to keep going on, this way Benchmade can spend more money in this whole ordeal and sue everyone and violate the 1st Amendment they:
infringe the freedom of speech
and
infringe the freedom of the press
So everyone he is guilty of defamation in Benchmade's view because I am being sued for releasing this information as well.
So I hope people set aside how much they personally dislike me and see that Benchmade is violating the constitutional rights that we have.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago

Very true, and I want to make a point of letting the information to be well known to everyone that I possibly can so that they are aware of what kind of company Benchmade is.
Roadsideimports 2 years ago
you have my full suppourt in dealing with the corporate american scumbags. Its a very sad thing when an american like myself has to insult my own countries companies. The american dream isnt "Hey! Lets make money by rapeing the american public with overpriced knives and then suing everyone that has them!". The american dream is "If i work hard i can make enough money to live an enjoyable life."They should have asked you for the profits and the names of the people who you bought the knives from.
camguy3 2 years ago 5
Exactly, just like Kershaw and SOG do, they behave like gentlemen and are respectful companies to deal with and understand the issue because those two also make knives in China and understand what comes out the back door. Then they know not to destroy American businesses that sell their products along with everything else because it is in their interest to remain in good standings with the consumer public.
Benchmade truly is a morally corrupt company run by defunk principles.
