Yeah it's not very nice to use things which have no bearing on character in a manner unbecoming polite conversation. Whether or not someone is gay, non-sexual, fond of young women, older men or what is really no ones business who is not involved with that person. The idea of trying to use these personal preferences in a way to insult someone only reflects poorly on the upbringing of the person doing so. Sorry wmjahn but I figure you don't know any better.
Randolph Scott was probably one of the finest men & actors that has ever cross the silver screen. He was a gentleman in true class. His memory still lives
scott was a fine actor and anything to do with his personal life should be his own business, people who burn up a lot of energy about someone else's personal life need to get a life of their own (I have spoken)
to wmjahn--and other posters-peterfirthfan is a troll who wants others to only believe ugly lies--only wants others to believe ONLY ugly things about dead american actors who aren't here to defend themselves--he is a 15-year-old kid--a gay coward-i think his account should be suspended- i am sick of his ugly slanderous postings-he keep on-someone related to the object of his slanders might file a lawsuit-for libel.
Oh, of course I did not catch that difference ... they all confessed to that, I guess?! I am just trying to imagine Charles Bronson saying in an interview, "hey man, ya know, I sucked the cock of this and that director to get this and that role". :-)))
Or George Cukor saying to an interviewer: "ya know, in my early years I had this and that actor ..."
I don't think Bronson ever gave interviews. It does make you wonder why else gay director George Cukor would have cast untalented actors like Bronson, Aldo Ray, Ty Hardin etc.
Not many words, but he gets things done. Lives by a moral code, does what is right, doen´t ask much, a man, who does what needs to be done and does it quiet and sure.
Actually when I watch an old Randolph Scott movie I always think he forwarded his screen persona to the last believeable tough man we had in Cinema: CHARLES BRONSON!
I don't know about Charles Bronson but I did read that he had sex with gay director George Cukor in order to get parts in films like "Pat and Mike" when he was an unknown bit player. Clark Gable, Also Ray, Chuck Connors and Ty Hardin did the same.
Yes, of course they were and are all gay, plain simply everybody, all the male Hollywood actors are gay, all the females are lesbians, that is a necessity to become an actor/actress.
Actually the only reason I am not a mega-star is that I am straight.
Yeah, I became sick of all that shit this guy is posting about Randolph SCOTT (and I think Charles BRONSON, too), both of them were straight. No harm meant to gays, but these 2 actors are - at least to me - epithoms of masculinity and I don´t like to see people spreading lies ´bout them. :-)
BTW, did you notice, they both have the same minimalistic zen-like acting style, just wonderful!!
Randolph Scott WaS a REAL Man....Sorry you don't feel the same. My own son is Homosexual and don't we All have some things we wish others didn't know? I certainly don't love him less. Sorry you are so JUDGEmental. My 68 yr old hubby adores Randolph Scott so who am I to break his dream? Lots of boys grew INTO MEN admiring this wonderful actor. Actors have passion...it is what makes them GREAT. I am not an Obama fan myself, but HEY....it IS a free country...RIGHT?
Fascinating... For anyone reading this that is interested in abnormal psychology, note that Perverts always find it necessary to justify their decadent behavior by saying that others are doing the same. Dead people are the most convenient to accuse, since they're not here to defend themselves :)
The sad thing is, these disturbed people end up throwing manure on those who are they are not worthy to tie the sandals of. Perhaps Obama will give us more gov funding to help these disturbed people?
You certainly have every right to feel as you do...but when my Own son told me he was gay I still loved him. He was the baby I'd had as an infant and as a Man. We all have a past we don't want known to others...so what? if Scott was homosexual....he inspired lots of boys Into Manhood without making them gay. He was a role model. So please...let bygones be bygones.........Thank You for letting me express how the other half lives.
Of course, you have every right to love your son who is gay if you so wish. Beside the point, isn't it? The fact is, Scott's family denied the allegations... it was hurtful to them beacuse the accusation was deeply against their moral values. If you don't care, fine. But they did. And then there is also a little, trifling matter of something most people have forgotten about. Oh yeah... I think it's called TRUTH.
That's always just how I thought of him. He was always believable as a hero, because he seemed so naturally right and moral. I once thought I wanted to marry him when I was younger.Even after I came to the realization that 97.5% of men like him are gone, it's still nice to look up to him.. Those beautiful smiling eyes of his seem like they could endure anything if they had to.
Who wrote this and why was it recorded in rome? I won't say it's the best I've heard, but thanks so much for posting!.
Which Randolph did you have in mind...three of them were married. The meanest...steelist with the mw wave on his face was Melbourne Wigle, my daddy. He may have been right and moral but his extreme temper always took control. The others were his cousins from the Iler side of the family. The Wigles, Ilers, Crawfords, Cloonies, Calhoon's come from the mid 1700's. There is one left alive and he isn't lacking for a woman.
you'd do it for Randolph Scott...

Aside from being an absolutely talentless wooden one-note actor, Scott was a HOMOSEXUAL who lived with his lover Cary Grant for TWELVE YEARS.
