Hi, I've been watching your videos for the last month and I got my Ielts results today. I took an overal of 7 which is ok, I think my listening score did lower my grade (i was totally lost in space during the exam, and I was sitting way in the back was really confusing) But I took a 7 in writing and a 8.5 in speaking. my professors teach me that you should have thesis and out line in one sentence like "The government should not .................... and than you have to give three reason which you are going to explain in 2 3 and 4 paragraph. " any comment or suggestion?

I have found in my experience, student essays are just cleaner and less confusing if they separate each of their ideas into its own sentence.

Of course, if you are asked to write 4 supporting-paragraphs in your essay you must include 4 supporting paragraph topics in the outline sentence of your introduction paragraph.

My question to you is: would you really want to group an outline sentence containing 4 supporting essay topics with your thesis?  This sentence would be extremely long!
