Erm but the eagle has a 2nd membrane in their eyes that covers them when they are about to attack. Something like translucid eyelids, the ones you see at the end of the video. So the venom should not be able to get to its eyes
@Shoyrou They did mention though that the snake spits at 10 mph, too fast to see in real time. If it's being ejected that fast, you cant assume the eagle will always be prepared. Plus it's true, Snake venom causes extreme pain, I've been bitten by a rattle snake and while not that awful I can imagine a shot to the eyes or even eye lids would make me back down quickly.
