James is good but Jordan has the finess, artistry. Jordan's dribbling ability is even more universal, beautiful to watch, no crablike spreading of the legs to do a crossover. Lebron, in the previous finals, shrinked from being the gotoguy in 4th quarters so that the blame would shift to Wade. James, Wade, and Lebron are phenomenal players. But Lebron may not be the next MJ.

I don't see why people even compare LeBron to MJ. LeBron is 6'8" 240lbs, whereas MJ was 6'6" 216lb. MJ had his dominant fadeaway, his unyielding clutchness, and the ability to fake opponents at the toss of a dime. LeBron may have a fadeaway in his artillery, but it looks nothing close to MJ's artistic fadeaway. LeBron is NOT clutch at all. And LeBron just uses his immense strength over players to get by them. They're two totally different players. MJ even plays more athletically.

Not even close, LBJ type of play is not similar to MJ at any sense, Kobe has a very similar game to MJ. I would say Kobe copied most MJ moves even the way to speak and gestures but although Kobe is definitely among the best of all time and still better than LBJ, there is a huge GAP between Kobe and MJ, MJ's accomplishments are just too much, and Kobe has runout of time to match them, specially with 2 loses at the finals and only 2 finals MVPs out of 7 possible. @axacingdude It's not that people forget about those guys, it's that most who call Kobe or Lebron the greatest never saw those legends play. Anybody who saw Michael Jordan transform the game of basketball knows that Lebron and Kobe, as good as they are, have no business being compared to him as the best ever.

@axacingdude Larry bird clyde drexler magic and kareem are beastly but the reason no one compares them to lebron or kobe is because Michael is just so fukin good he way overshadowed all of those people so you dont hear about them if they were in this time period they would be called the amazing players being compared to michael but the were in michaels time period so he jus embarrasses them

@kilox10001 -PART THREE: Killer instinct isn't an attribute you can find on a video game. And it's not something you eventually develop. Tell me this: If LeBron can get to the bucket at will like Jordan could, why does he shoot so many 3s at crunch time? Because he's afraid. A 78% career FT shooter, he doesn't want to go to the line. And Jordan played in a time where flagrant fouls today were just ticky-tack then. LeBron doesn't have that "it" factor, and everybody knows it. You're wrong buddy.

@kilox10001 - PART TWO: Choking in the finals even once, let alone twice, is something Jordan would never do. He WILLED his teams to victory. LeBron is a phenomenal player, I'll admit that, but while he's choreographing dances and handshakes on the sidelines, Jordan refused to lose. While LeBron damn near cried after winning in the second round of the playoffs, Jordan expected to advance. Like I said before, he's a completely different player. It's an insult to MJ to compare him to LeBron.

@kilox10001 - I'm glad you said that. I'll make this a 3-part answer: One or two years would hardly be a difference between two comparable... but MJ and LeBron aren't and they never will be. They're two completely different players. LeBron's stats don't make him Jordan-esque. LeBron is too passive; he doesn't have the killer instinct that Jordan had. Shooting fadeaway 3s (and relying on the 3-ball in general) in the 4th quarter because you're afraid to shoot FTs is something Jordan wouldn't do.
