What's with this idiotic 24p religion? 60p looks nice and smooth. 24p does not.

Pan around any scene, and 100% of the people agree - *IF* those people actually care to even LOOK at 60p video!

James Cameron also agrees that higher frame rates look much better.

The BBC did a few studies. All evidence shows that when people are given the actual choice, that they DO pick the higher frame rates, and not 24 fps at all!

I'd like to make movies like you do - they're great! Debating whether to get the GH2 or maybe the Sony A55 - also heard they may have a Sony A77 coming out at CES. Any recommendations?

@Wildcatmovie Sony had the a77 as a prototype at Photokina in oct 2010. If they have the a77 ready for production in January in a weeks time then I am really going to be surprised. That would be a world record for a new camera. The lead time for the a55 was about a year. Now Sony might announce the "real" a77 at CES but then theres 8-10 moths before its in your hands at best.

And the cost of the camera body is nothing compared to the cost of lenses and all the other stuff you need for shooting.

@Wildcatmovie Yes, it has a really fast autofocus. I have it and I am very impressed with it, including how well the autofocus works. I have made a first test clip "me and my rocket" - but at first with full manual voigtländer lenses. Look at my videos. Greetings.

This might be a dumb question since im just getting into HDSLR filming but would i be better off buying a T2i or Gh1/Gh2? Ive found so many positive reviews on the T2i but not much on the Gh1 and clearly not the Gh2 since it hasnt been released yet.
