With costumes like that (ugly, dull, and cheap-looking) I wouldn't like to see them any closer. For god's sake, can't the costume designers come up with something better? Rockettes are excellent dancers so there's no need to give them crappy costumes to wear.
Had he not used binoculars, those girls would look ant sized. Radio City Music Hall is immense! The Rockettes shown here are a full city block away from the camera. That curtain that comes down at the end weighs 3 tons. It is quite a place.

sorry, i'm all the way in the back. and i'm using binoculars on my camera. as close as i could get without shaking too much.
