The whole DC staff hasn't done a great job this year, yea money talks but this year DC hasn't backed it up on the field. Especially in the defense perspective. Too many acquisitions during the off-season which screwed the whole chemistry DC had. The players DC have acquired haven't basically produce consistently. The DC staff have to do a better job especially if wanting a stadium in the future which by the way fuck Fenty for not wanting to assist DC on the plans.

um having seen both (Galaxy and DC this past month) i enjoyed watching Gallardo skills way more than I enjoy watching Mr. PoSh. against Seul, Koria. If you know about futbol, you would know better and not fall under the marketing itself. give me a break, even cappello knows this.

Anyway, I was saying Beckham was quality player when playing in the EPL and in the firts season at real (maybe even first half of the season) and you wont see Gallardo playing in those two clubs or winning the Champions league... Some players like to keep it real and low key. Gallardo is one of those, believe me as a Boca Juniors fan talking greatness regarding a player who used to play in River (gallardo) it's very rare, but you gotta admit what's true.

Yeah but Beckham is bringing more fans to the game which is something you can't say about Marcello. I agree Beckham is being way overpaid for the short ammount of time he is going to be here and he came with an injury, so to buy a bench player is pretty ridiculous.

Fortunately DC doesn't need to waste their DP money on a seat filler, mostly since they're consistently among the top in the league in attendance.

We don't need to overpay players like Beckham to come to United.  We are the most successful MLS team and that can be summed up to good scouting.
