  • I am really in awe of the beauty of this scene in Funny Face. Fred Astaire's melodious voice, the beautiful melody of "He Loves And She Loves", and the amazing dance of Audrey Hepburn with the king of dancers--they are just fabulous. I was even shedding tears before I started writing this comment.

  • I decided to watch this video again, and I just realized that I used the wrong name....I'm sorry. But it's still beautiful song:)

  • I was totally born in the wrong Era.....

  • @dawlphinbri as was I...

  • Have you ever seen anyone look so angelic and graceful in your entire life? She is simply perfect!

  • For Opera Mystery, I believe this is Coye la Foret (excuse spelling). Dreamy, yes?

  • Audrey is a vision...

  • My two all times favorite actors in the same movie...a beautiful dream...I Love it

  • I was born in the wrong decade

  • Soo beautiful ^^!

  • Can someone tell me where this scene was filmed ? What is that castle type chapel there ? Is this the Chateau De Vincennes in the Bois de Vincennes, a large park in the East of Paris ? Or is this outside of Paris somewhere ? What is this place ? It's so beautiful! Is it still there ? I'd love to visit this place.

  • could this be any more perfect?

  • He is there to take her picture for the magazine that she is a model for, but Fred doesn't know that she is in love with him.

  • Wonderful!

  • I belong in the 50s

  • La più bella canzone mai scritta, grazie George

  • if i could go back in time...she'd be the only person i would really care to meet. why is life so unfair!? haha

  • i'm from 95. I HATE THIS. :/ wish i could see audrey, fred astaire, and people like that alive. :( that's just not fair.

  • Give me class acts like Fred, Audrey & George Gershwin any day! I'm a man living in the wrong era.

  • I belong there too. I've always said I'm a man living in the wrong time, wrong century. Give me class acts like Fred, Audrey, The Gershwin's anyday!

  • I just finished watching Funny Face. My oh my is Freddy such a charmer.

  • Soo beautiful and hopelessly romantic ^^,

    a classic !!

I love his charming voice and great dancing style ,

and Audrey is just ...heavenly :)

  • J'ai revu ce film dernièrement et j'ai beaucoup apprécié.

  • so sweet

  • I remember getting very thrilled to see this scene for the first time. And I immediately

loved the mesmerizing tune of this song. Fred Astaire has been a great dancer and

will remain peerless. Thanks for posting this clip.

  • if this isn´t the MOST BEAUTIFUL dance ever filmed, i don´t know what "beautiful" means!

i ADORE fred and audrey is just magnificent!

  • Fred Astaire & Audrey Hepburn is the ultimate dream pairing of elegance.

  • Yes, the fifties were wonderful but you have to remember that this is the movies. We also had the HUAC and the McCarthy period in the fifties. I agree with you, don't get me wrong. My only wish is to have lived in the 50s and 60s for the very same reasons as you. Just mentioning that it wasn't a fairytale compared to today.

  • Somebody should have told Donen that the doves wouldn't cooperate. Yet Hepburn avoids punting them into the pond @1:48

  • Very beautiful ! I loved !

  • Thanks for posting this! As many times as I've seen "Funny Face" over the years, this last scene never fails to bring a tear to my eyes. One of the prettiest movie endings ever - and what can one say about Astaire and Hepburn that already hasn't been said? S"wonderful!!

  • I swear if I ever get married, I want this song played at my wedding.

  • I belong in the 50s....

  • me too! i love the clothes, songs and how people were to each other..just love it!

  • yeah, but no youtube, cable tv, ipods, macbooks, and racism was the norm ;) = not so good after all... What we should be focusing on is the values that prevailed in the 50's...

  • You said it. *Sigh*

  • @elaine3573

How times have changed, and not for the better. Here's a combination of Gershwin, Astaire, and Hepburn in a clip so beautiful it'll bring tears to your eyes. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • it's not my favorite but it's really good.

    ps mine's top hat.

  • I just visited this little chateau this week. It's le Chateau de la Reine Blanche, and is a 50 minute walk through the forest to Etangs de Comelle near Coy la Foret in the Oise and it looks almost exactly the same today as it does in the film. It it is enchanting.
