This is like a really twisted version of Rapunzel. A child who grows with some feature abnormal to humankind who is nice and close to nature kept in some tower by an old freak who thinks they are protecting the child from the evils of the outside world when they really have a hidden agenda in mind for the child.

Every ones talking about how mother Gothel and Frollo are alike, but what about the other characters? Phoebus is like Flynn , and 'Jolly( or apparently djeli) reminds me of Pascal. And of course Maximus is like Achilles . ( they also remind me of Altivo from the road to el dorado )
