  • idk if my posts are going thru or not, but i dont wanna submit them 100 times over, so i hope so. anyhow, like you went until like 4 months with inverts and stuff, and nothing since. i guess in a couple weeks i can play around a lil but i know im gonna have a tough time with inverts and stuff for some time. it will be my biggest challenge yet, but you are definately inspiring me, with these videos, i thank you for having posted them! gives me lots of hope. xoxo

  • im soo afraid i wont be able to pull up into an invert even. that will frustrate me so much, i hope muscles have a memory of some sort lol. cant wait to start the journey back but scared to. takes alot of dedication, hubby better help me out time wise 4 sure. great vi to look back on veena!

  • @exdiva69 did you have another baby??? And yes muscles do have memory! :)

  • You are amazing!! A bod like that after 4 weeks from having your son!! OMG you really are a fantastic lady!! xx

  • Thank you!!

  • i'm preggers (about eight weeks along) and have been pole dancing for almost eight months now... putting a pole up in my house soon so i can keep up with it throughout the pregnancy as a way to stay fit and strong... you're my inspiration, thanks!

  • You might want to check out my suggestions for pole dancing while pregnant. You can see it on my StudioVeena website forum. Stay safe don't learn anything new and no iverting or climbing after the 2nd trimester. Work on what you know.Congratulations

    Veena

  • Wow..so much more strength in the span of a week! Great job! So I can climb my pole now and now I am trying to work on the cross knee release but it HURTS! When I have the money to, I am going to get your vids on your website. You are so much fun to watch. Thanks!

  • well you look amazing! All moms should pole dance :)

  • Thank you. I agree all moms should pole dance!!

  • i absolutley am loving these videos because you say you have lost so much strength since you stopped for a while but you are still amazing xxx out of curiosity what happened at about 5:30 when you suddenly bent over and held the top of your thigh ?? hope youre ok

  • Leg cramp lol but I'm fine :)

  • How do you prevent stretchmarks? You look great :)

  • I wish I could tell you. To be honest I have PLENTY of stretch marks...you just can't see them from far away. But thanks

  • You are a great inspiration, even tho i can only dream on doing everything u do i'm always following your videos to get new stuff for my classes :) Ur amazing, only 4 weeks after giving birth :O Best of luck and congrats on the new member of the family :)

  • I loved all the little faces you pull and the thumbs up when it goes right, great to watch Veena, gives me hope that I will improve with practice (though I can't imagine I'll ever reach your standard!) xx

  • lol starting over is not fun. :( Luckily the bruising hasn't gotten to bad YET. hehe

  • Looking good Momma!

  • Thanks for sharing your frustrations with us. It makes beginners like me feel that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

  • aww bless you veena, you look so tired but your doing fab! i don't wanna go trough all the learning again :( lol i'll pop in on friday and explain why i've been absent - another chapter of my book haha x

  • Thanks...Well I hope things are ok for you. We'll chat Fri.

  • I love you Veena, and I also hate you for looking this good so soon after baby!! I think I'm going to have a harder time, since I'm having a c-section in Febuary.I'm not even supposed to start working out for at least 6 weeks! ugh! It's just very discouraging.

  • You will have to wait a little longer before poling but...you can start walking with in a few days! I thought I would want to hop on the pole immediately after giving birth but to my surprise I didn't. I was soooo much in baby love mode pole didn't really matter. I wanted to snuggle as much as possible cuz I know they grow so fast.

  • oh and good luck with the birth!!

  • u are a beautiful stong woman...your boys are lucky to have u as their mommmy

  • Thank you! Hope they feel that way too.

  • oops-i meant stRong (;and confident;)

i'm sure they feel that way, too. even when they are running thru your house raising hell. i bet it's lot of fun xxoo

  • love the first little cartwheel mount at the end, the look on your face upside down is great! good work, you're amazing and you'll be back to 100% in no time!

  • haha I was pretty shocked!!

  • If I could do half of those moves as well as you did in that video I would consider myself to acheived quite a lot! Many of your moves were already back to normal--the elbow mounted inverted V at 1:58, the 6:18 straight-edge. I understood the "space test" before the rev. grab--I smashed my toe real good against the radiator on my corkscrew, LOL! I'd love to do the sit up at 1:00-- I love those power moves. You look toned and fit aleady, you are really amazing in your powers of recovery...

  • Thanks...I still feel sloppy but I'm TRYING to not get frustrated with myself. It was just so dam easy before and now its not aaarggg. I do have to say, its so helpful to be able to post vids and get encouragement from everybody :)

  • Wow I can really see the progress you're making since your last video! Well done! Thank you so much for sharing these videos with everyone!!

You were SOO close to getting the shoulder mount! I was watching the screen avidly and willing you to make it! :D

Hope everything is well with you, baby Henry & the rest of your gang!

  • Thanks Trena we're doin good missed you in chat this week. :)

  • Great progress! Welcome back!

  • Wow u r really makin progress...keep up the good work...i'm rooting 4 ya...lol

  • fabulous job for only 4wks back...! youll be back up to par in no time!! hope the baby and all are well!! great to see you back..!

  • You are so cute at 1:03 I can totally sympathise there. That move kills me and I didn't just have a baby. You'll be back in top form in no time. Your very gracefull

  • lol I almost fell there I was hanging on for dear life. hehe.

  • Veena-great job and yes you do look great! 4 kids!!! No way! That itself is a fabulous blessing. Look how great you look. How many gals can say they look that fab after even ONE kid? I know how exhausting motherhood can be in those early months, late night feedings, nursing etc. You've got some awesome power moves there for 4 weeks postpartum! Great job again and sorry for hijacking your comments page! :)

  • He sleeps for about 6hr at night so I get some good rest and I try to drink lots of water and eat well.

  • If anything, seeing the struggle now makes me appreciate what you do even more...you always made it look so effortless, it was easy to forget how strong you are, and how much it really takes to pull those moves off! For those of us who never did have your crazy strength, what's your current workout routine like for building back the strength?

  • Wingedseed. stretch every day. Full body work out 3x a week and pole 1-2x a week. Soon I will change to just upper body 2x a week so I can concentrate on increasing the intensity. and lower body 1 a week.

  • Wow-look how far you are already:) Easing back into it is paying off for you. You're toning up pretty quickly since Henry was born. You look amazing!

  • That was awesome Veena!!! You do some of these better than me :)

  • Oh I don't know about that. but thanks

  • I do! I haven't even got the handpsring down yet and I haven't had any children!!!

  • This vid is real progress on the last one, great to have you back again and look forward to watching your progress xxx

  • Thank you.

  • OMG, YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!! Wow! What an inspiration! Thanks for all your great vids... I've learned so much from you!

  • Thanks ;)

  • WOW...you can see your progress in just 1 week. Keep them coming. Again, you are an inspiration!

  • you are doing FANTASTIC. i still can't believe that you have rebuilt that much strength in just four weeks! and i love the little muscle flex at 8:40....hahaha

  • I've been doing more weight and flexibility training than poling...its a big help.

  • You are doing so well babe, and it's a delight to see you back on the pole. Keep them vids coming! xxx

  • Thank you.

  • I love these post-pregnancy videos! Beacause pole is (for the most part) a woman's sport, these are very pertinent to the poling community, congrats on your progress and thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you so much

  • dont let it frustrate you, you are DEFINATELY gainging strength, i see it, even if you can't see it we do, and by by pouch..i told u that would happen, ur lookin so great, and the next vid im sure you'll be near to full capacity, hang in there..childbirth takes alot out of the body, but in this vid, noone would know!! xoxo

  • Well I wouldn't say by the next vid...but sooner than I expected I hope.

  • oh an one question! which seems easier to poledance on? a 50mm or a 45m? i think i have the bigger one. not quite sure though.

  • 45mm.... but if you plan on dancing places other than your home standard in the US is 50mm (2in)

  • wow i see alot of progress since your last video seriously. i think you still have that muscle it just has to remember what its doin =) your wonderful!

  • you must be kidding? four babies and that body+

  • wow girl.. you are look like you're getting the hang of it again. you will be back to your old self in no time! thanks for posting your progress. it is very inspiring.

  • thanks :)
