  • When I was a kid I dreamt of being an adopted child. I used to hope that my real mum would come and take me away from the nasty bastards, who claimed to be my parents. In my opinion; a fucked up kid, becomes a fucked up adult. Look at me; 03:30 Christmas day, shitfaced, and typing rubbish. I am generous to all, in the hope that it will be returned in some small way. Sadly; the all, look on my generosity as a weakness, and rip the arse out of it. You might be OK; but fuck them, & fuck me as well.

  • Adoption is a great thing-my father was adopted into an amazing family and I have the best child ever who we adopted when she was 1 day old. Birthmothers need to quit making it so sad and realize they have given their child an amazing gift of life and a better situation, and grown adopted children need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and be thankful that they were placed for adoption-life with a birthmother who did not have the resources to take care of you would not have been any better.

  • "grown adopted children need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and be thankful"

Are you adopted? If not then you really have no right to say such a thing. I am adopted and YES, I am very grateful... But yes I also always wonder WHY?

  • as i stated in my post, my father was adpoted, my sister was adopted and i have an adopted daughter. i don't mean any disrespect, but what i am saying is be grateful that when your birthmother did not have the resources to provide for you- either financially, physically or emotionally-someone stepped in and took care of you, loved you and provided for you. things could have been a lot worse.

  • I hope Bunny will realize this :) I'm a birth mom with an open adoption. I see Bunny all the time, and last week when I saw her, I saw in her eyes something that said "Thank You" and I could see how happy she was and felt this is where she belonged.

  • i am adopted too. the way i think now, it was good but psychological it has never been good for me. when i grow older i realise more and more that eventhough i was 2 months old at the time, it always made a big impact on the person i am today. i will always miss someone in my life i can truly relate to. maybe one day i'll see my birthmother again.

anyway, i don't say it's bad , in fact it's great to give children a second chance to live and develope themselves!

  • she's Beautiful

  • I'm adopted as well(from Chile to Norway)

I never used to think about it before, but that changed as I got older.

I'm turning 18 soon, and then I'll try to find my birthmother.

  • I was adopted and my parents gave me a second chance at life...I wouldnt be the person I am today..my heart goes out to all you adopters out there..

  • Adopted kids need more love and more people to care for them.

they need their parents to be there when they need them the most.

and they need a brother or sister too.
