  • The Pat Trevers band was quite popular when I was a child but I was so enthralled with the symphony and all of my piano renditions of classical music that somehow this band bypassed me. Keep in mind that I was only a preteen....God forgive me...they are great.

  • The fans make Youtube. If it were not for the jams I doubt that I would

even go to this site. And no, I don't upload but I got tons of songs on

    playlist.

  • P.T. R.O.C.K.S.

  • PT is one of the best ever!!

  • One of my favorite guitar players, PT is freakin' awesome.

  • great tune

  • pat is my reason to pick up a guitar.....i lay off for a couple of years, then go back to it.....and play better than ever, cause i listen to stuff like this.....i dont get people downin him,,everybody has a bad night....believe me i played bar bands,,etc...for 25 years....i saw pat blow" the babys' and ...seriously....RUSH....off the stage in 77...no shit.........people showed up late to the show, to see babys and rush, and i said.....Screw it...you missed the GUITARIST.....haha

  • What is it with these ancient canucks? The yanks were so busy getting commercial. Never heard new material from Pat since the early eighties.., but that was me lazy cat. Cool stuff. Just makes me think of the load of stuff Tommy Aldridge was on. Check out Pat's Heat in the street.

  • Fuck this is great.

  • I have seen PT many times live, some times he is amazing, sometimes too wasted to play..this is not one of his better versions of this song...

  • I was their Fantastic Show

  • Where's Mars Cowling?

  • Man, the first two minutes is organizmickly sick! This is a guy who just lets the soul flow and one who could play better live than studio.

  • he did 24 frets

    was great

  • PT is just about my #1 all-time guitar hero ever since 78, his huge funky riffs influenced me as a guitarist, and still do. I saw the PT band live in 80, opening for Foghat, and PT seriouly blew those old burnt-out fucks off the stage, wish Pat would still play the Les Paul jr. but he's still rocking 30 years later with the PRS axe.

  • @earthcity1 PRS are better than les paul jr, imo at least

  • @bigassmatic Yeah no doubt your probably right I've had two 24 fret PRS, one 2002 model, and a 08 that I listed on e-bay last week but did not sell, I am going to put it back up soon,I never owned the LP jr, but played one once or twice, my 80's USA custom shop JACKSON is about the sweetest axe ever imo.

  • @earthcity1 I was hear for this show Great he also played at EJ's on Sandy Blvd too!!!

  • @earthcity1 Hey, I love Pat Travers, I saw him twice and he amazed me, and yes, I enjoyed his set more than I did Foghats('79), but I think your comment about Foghat is unfair and a little rude. You're entitled to your opnion, but before you think of someone as a burned out has-been, consider this: perhaps where they have been is farther than either one of us will ever be.Forgive the late response but I just found this video.

  • To AgentJar. I love sellersville, I see Frank Marino there every time I can, disappointed about the upcoming show being cancelled, Wish I saw Travers there . He is a top contender

  • Saw Pat Travers in 1980, he was great! One of the best! Saw him again in the 1990's and it was like he hadn't played in 10 years. He wads friggin' horrible.

  • See him again right now and you'll see him better than ever.

  • Me too.

He was so drunk that he did not even realise that he was picking his nose and not his guitar.(1990)

Worst concert of all time for me.

I really liked him before that.

  • Yeah he had quite an issue with cocaine, but now that he's kicked it, hes amazing to see live. Saw him last november in sellersville, PA. Freggin amazing show.

  • 1978 Alberta Jam I saw (heard), Travers was a speck onstage in the Distance on a long day of music. now.....UIOUYYEoooouuuuuieeeaaaaaaiiiuuubbii

  • what came 1st chicken or the egg?? this sounds like Eddie Van Halen "Cathedral"

  • A blast from the past! Thank you! Saw him in 82... maybe 83...kind of fuzzy now... Excellent!

  • Guitar sounds kinda crunchy. Dry with a splash of flange - if you catch my drift.

  • Yeah , I remember he was just coming up to be a very big artist then...BOOM BOOM...Van Halen hit and burst his artist bubble...I think he has learned about his kharma. I find Travers a very talented guitarist and musician that got his chops down and gives his all.

  • It's a shame too because Van Hager (or was it Sammy Halen) sucked.

  • nearly right..van halen and sammy hagar, and yeh pat is more versatile

  • HOT AND TRIPPY!

  • he is bad to the bone

come 2 rocklahoma in june 08

  • Gusman cultural center, he played Life in London to the T, he nailed everything, Mars whailed with Tommy Aldritch, power trio was the shit in the 70s-80s, they were at the top of the food chain G-3 Travers, Satriani, Vai.I'll ask Big Joe and see what he says.

  • Black Friday,Nobody ever played black friday like PT. G-3 Travers Vai Satriani 2008:)~V~

  • Saw PT Many Times In the 70s,

    SRV,Ted,Carlos,Satriani,Vai,Jimmy Page,Alex Lifeson,Beck...PT Is A God Period!

Met Him At this Record Store I worked at...sad to say TOTAL PRICK Back Then..

Shows Why he Never went as far as he should have...Karma Is REAL..

    ALOHA

    BRAD

  • Saw PT years ago and he was incredible, ranks up there with some of the other greats I have seen - Stevie Ray, Ted Nugent, Santana, Eddie, Angus and so on. (I just wish I could have seen Jimmy Page in his prime.)

  • here i am!!! lmao

  • I saw Trower, he is a God also, G-3 Travers Trower,Page:)I meet Gary hoey,Rick Vanfaussen, Joe Satriani, and Robin Trower, they were super cool, like talking to your best friends.

  • Man if Pat Travers, Robin Trower, and Jimmy Page toured together I think my head would explode from sheer astonishment.

  • I went to see Travers in Toronto, 1978.

One of the best concert I have ever attended.

What has happened to our music??????

  • Nobody can cover a Cream song better than him.

  • So under-appreciated and under-noticed...he went into a blues period in the 90's under the Blues Bureau label...still can rock it though...eh?

  • Agree. He the man.

  • In spite of ALL my comments on Pat, this fucker IS the man, and I would fight for him.

  • Great performance!!! Thanks for sharing
