I cycle to work and for leisure these days, 150+ miles a week, but rode motorcycles and scooters for many years and have some sympathy with the riders in these clips, they have similar problems with four wheeled vehicles, and some worse (motorcyclists invented the word SMIDSY).
Didn't do it myself but if they can get ahead of the queue at the lights its safer. If they are not endangering or inconveniencing me I don't really mind them being in an ASL, but as for the taxis, grrrr
hey therem yeah i do understand about motorbikes and asl and I can see why they do it. Sometimes it is dangerous for some cyclists and anoying too as it is meant to be a safety thing too. MAjor grr at cars and taxis too lol. Take care on your bike :)
I can imagine people stop in the ASL's so they don't get cyclists in front slowing them down. If the police do it, they really haven't got anything to worry about have they. :-/ ?
