    LOL kitten close up.

    fml

  • Garfield in gray.

  • Good tips! Thankyou. But your videos are bad quality.. please work on that.

  • cool

  • Whats up with the kitty's butt?

Every time she pets him, his butt rises

  • um i didn't see her bath the cat. and it looks like a half rex breed

  • What kind of shampoo can be used?? Any like himan or does it have to be special??

  • @bail9865 i use johnsons baby soap on mine, they smell so good and its very very mild, never use any soap on their faces though.

  • That cats in heat. Notice the tail moving out of thevway and the bum sticking upwards as she strokes the back.

  • 0:51 thats what she said! i think imm83 may be right...

  • As a woman and a cat, I can appreciate a well-drawn and well-executed bath. Think I might have to show this video to my husband (once he quits travelling through time) next time we're planning a romantic evening in. Superheroes need down-time too!

  • @Leopardisity

    You're a cat?

  • @Marsl2007 Half-cat. And half-woman. Many of the same principles apply.

  • @Leopardisity

So you're saying that you are half cat.

  • @Marsl2007 I'm the Queen of the subterranean cat-kingdom Leopardia, thank you for asking. Admittedly, I haven't been there in a while, but the palace has the best baths ever, and lots of male bathing attendants to help out...purrrrrr...

  • @Leopardisity So it all comes out as you being half animal and the Queen of a cat kingdom. Right on.

  • I just don't under stand how to calm your cat down when its scared of water. I can't suceed with my kittys freaking out.

  • haha that cat is unbelievably horny, look what she's doing every time the lady touches her back!

  • @imm83 The cat's not horny. A lot of cats do that when u pet them.

  • i used a tub and filled half with water, then i'll put her in. my cat likes it . she never tries to get out. the water is mild.. is that okay?

  • I am groomer have been doing cats for 20 years. First and foremoest you have to do the nails if not hello they will claw at you!! then clean the ears, bush and comb the hair if ling hair and it has mats dematt . If the mats are embedded into the skin and they are long hair cats see the vet. If short hair cts no problem.

If you have questions email me at msstinky@msn.com ask for JoAnn from Somerville MA I will be posting a slide demo on you tube soon.. We have a slide show check it out.

  • no need to wash a cat, mine is 16 years old and still washes himself.

never had a bath or shower or even walked in the rain, and still smells good.

  • If you hold the cat's head under the water for a minute or two they stop fighting...it is then really easy to bathe them.

  • @v8power101 hahaha ummm what!?!?!

  • @ronnyboy1988

What I'm saying is, a dead cat is easier to groom...

  • @v8power101 science wins again!

  • I don't believe it to be necessary to bathe cats.

  • My ol lady raises her butt in the air when I stroke her back too, I don't get it, what's the deal.

  • lol, I own that same pink brush for my cats XD

  • Is it really essential to bathe a cat? Ours keeps herself very clean. I only brush her every nite. But is a wet bath needed? We have never tried to bathe her, I think we would get wetter than the kitty. Your reply would be appreciated.

  • If your cat is an indoor cat, no not really. Maybe every once and a while but otherwise just a good brush down should be fine (that's what I do with both of mine who are indoor cats). If you wanted, you could get a damp rag and rub that on them real quickly.

Bathing is necessary for outdoor cats though, no matter how clean they keep themselves. Between bugs, dirt and whatever else they got into, giving your cat a bath will keep her healthier (plus it makes it easier to find ticks or fleas).

  • cute fat cat :)

  • bathing my cat is so easy because he does not have claws Also he loves it! He just sits there and lets out a purr once in awhile

  • lucky you. my cat flips out at the sight of water (and he has sharp claws- getting them clipped isn't easy as he tries to run away or fight back).

  • i cant bathe my kitten for ten days because she just got spayed yesterday and the vets dont want me to get your wound wet... I feel bad for my kitten she needs to wear an E-collar because she cant lick where she got her surgery at..

  • this didnt really help me...

i have to keep my cat away from me so that i wont get hurt.... my cat allways trys to escape so i put him the the tub not the sink and i kinda hose him down (-not letting water on his face-)?

  • I use an old screen instead of a towel...maybe a towel works better (I'll try it). I need two people to bathe my 11 lb kitten. When I tried doing it alone, I got a puncture wound in the throat (I can't restrain him with just one hand). I tried herbal anti-anxiety drops (for the kitty, LOL) but they weren't effective.
