@jay7369 that combination of crazy+intelligent is why they need the loud voices. I had to rescue mine from the fridge (prawn hunting mission) aged 12 months, good job he howled like a banshee. A home with an oriental is never dull :-)
Atleast if it does work your kitty isnt going through discomfort with the eye. Even tho we dont know if it actually is, it sure looks like it. My kitty seems much happier now that he can open both his eyes up wide and no tears. From one cat lover to the other, I hope this helps
I also have a siamese that had the same eye problem for years. One day he was outside and chased a bee and got stung on his upper cheek close to his eye. I brought him to the vet and he was given a cortizone shot for the swelling. Once the swelling went down, his eye was just like the other, wide open and no discharge. I'm not sure if it was the cortizone shot but speak to your vet, this might be an option.

As soon as you say, "You're a Dopey cat," she stops speaking. I guess she figures that if you're going to talk like that, then she doesn't want any part of you. :)
