a hero? how so? he had antisocial and narcassistic personality disorder, at extreme levels, and that combined with an extreme intelligence, made him probably one of the most dangerous men of all time. but i dont know how that makes him a hero. he simply had a few extreme personality disorders. not to make light of his killings in any way.

These people don't want to change because what they've created has made them feel powerful and like god...why would they ever give that up? As far as the brain changing permanently with these disorders is also untrue.

I don't think you can change them once you have them, as they go far beyond the boundaries of what society accepts as moral and immoral. It's a law of the jungle, survival mindset really. He was not highly intelligent , take for instance him falling asleep on the side of the road after Kimberly's murder....not a very smart move. And carrying a rape kit , when if he planned to murder his victims a mask is not even necessary.
