If you look the release date of pokemon games and their remakes release dates, you guys are able to see, that there is about 10 years between original game and remake version EVERY SINGLE TIME! Pokemon red, blue and green were released 1996 and the remakes came out 2005.
Pokemon gold and silver were released 2000 and the remakes came out 2010! Strange... TOO STRANGE!!! So Pokemon ruby and sapphire were released 2003... HOLY CHICKEN!

They could do that except SMALLER of course, but instead of attaching to a controller, they could to it by hooking it up to the Headphone slot maybe?
I remember this...When I was little. Fuuuu- The nostalgia... I want to get a torchic again and train it all the way up to lvl100 like I did the first time...but in the setting of Hoen, it just wouldn't feel the same to train just ANY torchic to lvl100 just anywhere...

I've played Blue version, Gold Version, Crystal, Ruby and Emerald, Pearl and Platinum, Heartgold, and finally Black. Through all my Pokemon journey and memories, the R/S/E ending theme was by far the best and nostalgic piece to date.

Has anyone visited Undella Town this month? There's a lady in one of the houses that mentions Steven Stone! :D There's also a man in the same house that mentions the Hoenn region. I was delighted when I heard this! I have many games I want this generation. A Ruby and Sapphire remake, a new Mystery Dungeon, and a new Ranger game which I all know will come as long as I believe strongly enough. :)
I the game will most likely will come out on the 3ds while we for pokemon 6 to come out but we still need wait for pokemon grey or whatever is going to be called then we'll get our hands on this game probably a year 1 or 2 later when that game is released and were playing the remake they will announce pokemon 6 making us wait even more plus you can get gen 3 pokemon like this migrate them ruby or sapphire to diamond or pearl or soulsilver you get the point then migrate those gen 3 pokemon aga
I really hope RS get remade this gen. Many Hoenn pokemon are not available in BW and GBA games are not compatible with the DSi/3DS. And all the Hoenn pokemon got new sprites, unlike the other Pokemon.
If RS get remade I hope the walking Pokemon feature returns, I loved that <3.

@PCKthe1st I don't agree. In GSC and HGSS Kanto was shafted. Many things were left out and it made Kanto boring. Sinnoh is an even bigger region than Kanto, imagine how shafted it will be. Besides, you would need a boat or airplane to travel between Hoenn and Sinnoh.
since Black and white are 10 years after the main storyline of R/B/Y, maybe a hoenn "sequel" could work out. like you know, wally's the champion, bunch of changes, etc.
I did some more research and found out that most of the Pokemon prior to Generation IV that are unavailable in Pokemon Black and White are obtainable in the Hoenn games. This remake has to come! It just has to! I have high hopes! :)
Making remakes of Gen III will only instigate remakes of Gen IV and V...making it a stupid and endless circle of remakes...then back to a 5th remake of Gen I.
My point is there is no need for Gen III remakes. Story-wise, Ruby and Sapphire take place at the exact time as Red and Blue, in 1995. And Diamond and Pearl take place within the same year as Gold and Silver (1999) which is what made the remakes in part necessary, because the GBA had not compatibility with GBC.
Ran out of space, here it is: Also Generation V takes place after 1999 (after Gen IV), so going back to 1995 and Gens I and III would be pointless, when they are already focusing on a new timeline in the future. Evidence for this is that the foreign Team Rocket grunt who stole the machine part from the Kanto Power Plant returns in Black and White, where he lives in Icirrus City with his wife and kid. The kid is clearly not a baby, more likely a kindergartener.
That at the moment you woke Groudon with Blue Orb and the sun starts shining, all the water in the game (or at least the west part) will be gone.
Same counts for Kyogre. When you woke it, the whole game (or west part) will be under water. You can Dive anywhere, but stand on the top of houses and buildings.
Can't wait. if they make it after a decade of the originals (like they did with the first two) Then It'll only be two more years until we go back to Hoenn!

God I love this game! Best fire-type starter (from any generation), and an albino protagonist (come on white hair). I hope they're really making a remake to this game and not mind fucking with us. This music is so nostalgic!!! I remeber playing this game like it was my duty! All the time I had in the overworld, just listening to the music is so moving. I hope they disnt stop at Gold/Silver because I was in the ruby/sapphire era and that is my child game. It would be ashame to have it end here.
I agree, 2012 or 2013 will be when they should come, they will be earlier than all the other remakes because with nintendo phasing out the gameboy advance hoenn pokemon are very hard to get. Plus with heartgold and soulsilver's success it is in their best interest to make these a little early.

So Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald where released between 2003 and 2005 , so it is possible that the Remakes will be released after 10 years between 2013 and 2015.

This may sound weird, but Hoenn was actually my favorite region. The whole game reeked of scenery porn (extremely beautiful settings and scenery that you can't take your eyes off of) and I would totally cry tears of joy if these games are remade. Nintendo already answered my prayers with remakes of Gold and Silver; now make Ruby and Sapphire too :D
On pokemon black and white there is a guy on the desert resort. And he said a dnt need go-gogels and say his from hoenn. Just like jasmine was on D P and Pl. So for sure there going to be a remake of sapphire and ruby.
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were the best games, in my opinion. They just had something more than Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal. I don't even know what sold me on them, but remakes of Ruby and Sapphire would end up being awesome ^^

@alexjuuh1 THe Kanto in HG/SS is to easy and short. Pokemon Yellow had an experience far more than FR/LG. Having your Pikachu follow you and you trying to please it and make it like you was the fun in it. Pokemon FR/LG were really bad games.

This is to everyone who said Hoenn sucks. >_> People complained about it so much they don't realize the 3rd Gen brought a lot of new features for the future games. Now you have Unova, IMO - it's the worst region of all. The geography, the Pokemon, everything. It didn't really offer anything new and there wasn't much to do after you beat the Elite Four. >_> WASTE of my $40 smh.

For the names, magma ruby and aqua sapphire are good, but i doubt thosell b the names. The first part of the names have to go with eachother. For ex: Fire and Leaf, Heart and Soul.

Here are some signs in Black and White that they're coming:
- In Black and White, the Pokemon Basculin has two forms: one with red stripes, and one with blue.
- In Shopping Mall Nine, the music is a remake of the PokeMart music in RSE.
- There's still that Pokeball picture in the Pokemon Center.
- They brought back dive.

God I love this game! Best fire-type starter (from any generation), and an albino protagonist (come on white hair). I hope they're really making a remake to this game and not mind fucking with us. Johto is my favourite region hands down but, Hoenn brought us HM Dive, Sharpedo, Balziken, and double-fucking-battle!! So confirm the game already GameFreak!!! And please. I speak on behalf of all the true fans; give us a hell of a lot more battles, lands to explore & surprise us all!

This music is so nostalgic!!! I remeber playing this game like it was my duty! All the time I had in the overworld, just listening to the music is so moving. I hope they disnt stop at Gold/Silver because I was in the ruby/sapphire era and that is my child game. It would be ashame to have it end here.

I agree, 2012 or 2013 will be when they should come, they will be earlier than all the other remakes because with nintendo phasing out the gameboy advance hoenn pokemon are very hard to get. Plus with heartgold and soulsilver's success it is in their best interest to make these a little early.

Pokemon Gold / Silver: Year 1999/2000 . Remakes: HeartGold / SoulSilver 2010:
Difference 10 years again.
So Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald where released between 2003 and 2005 , so it is possible that the Remakes will be released after 10 years between 2013 and 2015.

This may sound weird, but Hoenn was actually my favorite region. The whole game reeked of scenery porn (extremely beautiful settings and scenery that you can't take your eyes off of) and I would totally cry tears of joy if these games are remade. Nintendo already answered my prayers with remakes of Gold and Silver; now make Ruby and Sapphire too :D

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were the best games, in my opinion. They just had something more than Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal. I don't even know what sold me on them, but remakes of Ruby and Sapphire would end up being awesome ^^

I hope Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes come out in 2011 then Pokemon Gray in 2012 then a Pokemon Yellow remake would be awesome. I hated Pokemon Red/Blue but yellow was great. Then That will probably be it for Pokemon I don't see a 6th Gen.

@xxiReCoiL i actually don't think they will remake Pokémon Yellow. It was a onetime game based on the anime. and it's just pointless, because we already have FireRed/LeafGreen, and Kanto had been remade in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

@alexjuuh1 THe Kanto in HG/SS is to easy and short. Pokemon Yellow had an experience far more than FR/LG. Having your Pikachu follow you and you trying to please it and make it like you was the fun in it. Pokemon FR/LG were really bad games.

if it come out in the 3ds they are really srewing alot of their fans and will lose alot of money. Alot of people cant afford a 3ds. Not alot of people have $350 just laying around in their house, I mean if they do i will save up 4 a 3ds but untill then you know that thay always have something new coming out.
