That's the same reason Tomoyo fell in love with HER best friend Sakura. As for why Poemi keeps calling her father "director", that's because the director of "Puni Puni Poemi" ACTUALLY does her father's voice! And the voice actress for Poemi herself is named "Kobayashi".
