The value-added that Ratigan has is his expert knowledge on the financial system, ie. since his eyes were opened. Really the best thing he could do is to stop these rants and educate people. Right now he does about 99% ranting and we are lucky if he drops 1% truthful information into whatever story … but Americans are so out of it they need more than this, and I have seen Ratigan explain things very well, that is what he should do, essentially be a teacher
Ratigan has a lot of good points, or has collected a lot of good points. I don't know what to make of all these folks who put some facts together that makes sense, write a book, and that's the last we ever hear of it. They need to work together.
I agree with the no way to linearly create 30 million jobs, and the truth is unemployment is really about double that - but the light bulb that he is carrying around the country touting is nothing that great, there are a lot of LED lightbulbs.
i read the book, and it is an awesome read. i agree with most everything....except i starting disagreeing about his assertions on the role of the doctor specifically with the example he gave of his friend and the hurt wrist. at some point individuals have to take responsibility for their own health care. the dr did inform him of the natural remedies and exercises...but the patient decided to ignore them. as a provider myself i cannot be expected to go to peoples houses and babysit their choices
