buddy, every European nation thinks they are being run by the others, In france they think Germany and Britain run it and so on. Very few laws of any significance pass through, nothing on, health, education, foreign affairs, budgets, security and so on goes through. It is basically just the admin, so don't be fooled, governments can say no to EU laws, they choose not to and say it is out of their hands to pass on the blame. Also, everyone should have a vote!

I lived in Anguilla for 25 years and yes it has gotten worse, but still is far far better than 95% of other Caribbean islands. Go outside any tourist area in the Bahamas, Jamaica, the USVI, etc and you most likely will be a target of something. The police have always been very "persuasive" in Anguilla and nothing is new here. They want to keep the island peaceful and considering the outlaw status of most of the islands they have done a good job.

I was there and I think what the video omitted was the police pushing and shoving people and the police car driving into people. It also missed when the police were beating this young chap and the officer in the front seat of the car hitting the chap while he was in the back, gasping for breath and handcuffed. It also missed the comments of the people there who were outraged that thier rights were being violated
