  • My God! I've been sleeping on these guys forever and now I've finally awaken to the beauty of their music! I started off with "The Great Escape Artist" because I was feeling the track "underground" and I must say the album rocks too. I've been reading soooo many comments on how the diehard JA fans actually hate their latest record, but man... Their older stuff just rocks!!! Whateever you guys experienced back then, I'm experiencing it NOW!!!

  • @momurda99 Your comment put a smile on my face. Enjoy yourself man. :-)

  • @momurda99 Good for you. I felt exactly the same way when I discovered them in 1989. I listened to nothing else for about 5 years.....Cant get into the new stuff though. I'm not the same person, and neither are they. I will have all the great memories however, and thats good enough. Enjoy!

  • this song is like an adventure when your high

  • "Obvious" >;-)

  • i just love them

  • Ahhh..Janes Addiction...Changed the trajectory of my life ;)

  • @LapoSettepanze you clicked on the link that says Jane's Addiction.

  • Ahhh..I needed to hear this....Much better now.........

  • This is my favorite song from them. It just flat out rocks. The bass line is brilliant. Summertime Rolls is a close second. Eric Avery FTW!

  • @dlaird8 Ironically, the back story to this song is that Perry wrote it about Eric, but Eric had no clue he was the target of the lyrics. Too bad those guys could never get along.

  • @zorak1997 I heard that this song was about Eric and Perry but I have never hear anything official to back it up.

  • @dlaird8 Yeah, I've never heard anything from a band member confirming or denying this, either. But Casey has said this a couple times. In fact, the first time Casey was asked about this (that I know of) was in 1999, nine years after the album came out, and she basically said, "Wow, how did you figure that out? It's true and I don't think Eric even knows to this day that the song is about him".

  • 3:36 " Fools don't fit in the boots that i tread in "

  • x album was shit in my opinion, they came into own in nothing shocking, and peaked in ritual. ,but i know porno's for pyro's was a bastard child but it was good

  • basicallyitsabot trippingyourself off

  • Hey first of all, thanks for posting an awesome video of 'Obvious,' but I don't mean to be a dick but this was their third album.

  • @ponsuelo420 No it's not it is the second :D

  • @ponsuelo420 Well, it was their second Major Label album, if you wanna get technical. Their first, self titled album was released Independently in XXX Records.

  • Jane's and hallucinogenics just go sooo well together!

  • this song brings back so many great memories i had in the corps stationed in Oahu,HI,what a great place to be at,loved it.

  • @tonygchitown kanoehe bay is a good time.

  • I love psychedelics...

  • i think it sucks that most people only know janes for been caught stealing even though its the worst song in the album

  • I love how the song simply grinds to a halt with piano swipes at the end. It really couldn't end any other way.

  • I praise all you Janes fans. The night that I bought this album, I was driving around aimlessly tripping my face off..........!!!

  • @hammer95618 I was tripping my clavicle off!
