  • oh that's nothing, it's half the weight of my Sun E-450

  • 2 plugs not necessary. One psu is typically redundant

  • Can I have 1 of them Hard drives I need one When I got my server it didn't have one

  • you get for FREE

    I whant One :(

  • The two power cords were meant to be put in different circuits.

  • Our office's Sun x4500 with 48 hard drives is an teensy bit louder.

  • 10,000 rpm is unnecessary for a server

  • @MegaDeathwarrant How about a MySQL server with lots and lots of access requests?

  • @MegaDeathwarrant

But, if the hard disks were in RAID-0 he'd have 728 GB to use.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant Really now?

I hope a company didnt put you in charge of IT.

  • wow that sucks

  • Haha, 1 power cable for the fans, 1 for the rest :P

  • @bjuszczak6 the 2nd is a redundant psu probably, backup for the main psu

  • hahaha what a goood joke :-)

  • SR2 time

  • TIME TO INSTALL WINDOWS!

  • ive got a G2 and thats Loud as hell, so ive stuffed it in a closet

  • When you opened that top panel, did you put the camera in your mouth?

  • @10chadjordan01 probably a neck strap

  • It has redundent power supply unit. you can power it with one cord. How on earth are you gonna keep it running with that noise at home. I would sell it and buy a decent gaming machine.

  • ... And the universe was created

  • /watch?v=8ixfto_1Nl8

  • Sounds like my blade server

  • omg you stole my server lol

  • wait ... you got a FREE bixeon 3Gb ram server ??? so lucky you are !

  • lol how old is that

  • @TheNeurall Good question. I'll have to look that up

  • @TheNeurall the server he is using looks pretty new.....thats actually how newer servers look like. its also problably using 3ghz dual core xeons

  • @TheNeurall xeon isnt that old we use it at work

  • what a beast you got there.

  • what's your electricity bill like? xD haha

  • @ferdo621 well even with dual Xeon's his power bill should still be pretty decent the point of Xeon's are meant to be high power and stress while being as cool and less power needy he' might only be pulling a little over 400-450w from the wall

  • @TylertheGeek28 Oh I see. That's well thought then. So gaming computers (that use up to 1000w) would use way more electricity. Thanks for thei nfo, I would have never guessed.

  • @ferdo621 yep I've seen gaming pc's using around 1000w and only pulling about 500w from the wall assuming the psu was 80% efficient or above

  • @TylertheGeek28 isnt it the other way round using 500 watts and pulling 1000? It makes no sense otherways.

  • @deccno Nope, say the PSU was about 80% or something around that it could be using 1000w ( lets just say.. ) and with the PSU's efficiency it would make it about 500w or less which is why energy costs would be lower

  • wow wtf how the hell did you make this? i don't understand the structure of this!

  • @FlentMan

"This is a server that I have gotten for free"

Like it says it the video description

    SHEESH

  • Wooow... U only use this comp for servers?

  • my vacuum is quieter lol

  • Be careful poking around in there.
