it doesnt seem fair that you are all pouncing on ricky, if phil was still alive and brian and scott were the ones who had been replaced you guys wouldnt be moaning, it was scott and brian who wanted to get the band back together, and ricky was chosen because he was good friends with the scott and brian and he fit in well with the band, not because he was a copy of phil, no one will ever be fill and ricky has said on many occasions he isnt trying to be phil hes just trying to keep the music alive

Been a supporter since the 70s. It's funny how quickly the ''super-fans'' have forgotten how s*it it was seeing Thin lizzy full of heroin and what not in the 80s. They're fitter, tighter, more professional now than they were back in the day. RIP Phil but looking forward to hearing some long promised music in 2012.

@MrJETCITY Great comment,i saw them on tuesday,although wasnt sure about ricky as a vocalist,it was a great show.Its obvious no one can replace phil,but is he really trying to...i dont think so,its just some great music being played,with a different vocalist.Also i dont think its just about the money,clearly they are not doing it for free,but they must be enjoying it too,the rush playing in front of 10000s of fans is something no amount of money can buy.

There are plenty of sub-standard Thin Lizzy tribute bands making a fortune out of the Lizzy legacy. They've been doing it for decades. No reason why the guys who actually wrote the songs with Philip shouldn't benefit too. Looking forward to hearing a new album in 2012 or thereabouts. \m/
