His suggestion to swing parallel to the floor is an amazingly effective tip. Doing so allows you to be prepared for the oncoming ball, to meet it with options. I found that swinging this way gave me accuracy, power -- without a lot of effort -- and direction. The ball moves nicely to the corners. My opponents suddenly find me tougher to play.
I am puzzled why he didn't repeat this great pointer on the backhand video. Swing parallel to the floor on that side too, and use about 80% effort.

I, without any doubt, have the most hardest & most powerful forehand out of any squash player out there. I always crack the ball at least 1/4 inch above the tin line, then it skids along the floor for a clean winner.
Thanks so much for all your videos. They are awesome for a beginner. Could you make a video of how to hit the ball when it hits the side and back walls? Those are really difficult for me.
yerhh they are dude same for me..i found that if you get far frm the ball and low you should be able 2 hit it...also try hitting it on the side wall....it will be harder 4 ur oppenent 2 hit...
1 thing i desperatly lack in my game is recovering from the back. I've got no ide ahow you hit it so hard whne its so close to the back wall, because theres no space to swing the racket?? Please make a video of back of court shots and drop shots. G
When you demmo the shot, you push the racquet through the strike zone. Neither you nor any other good player does this, as shown by your own slow motion video.
He should let the racket follow threw but he stops it as soon as he has hit the ball
