Babies do develop so quickly in those first few weeks in the womb! I always demamded to get copies of all my ultrasounds. It amazed me how cute a baby is even while in utero. 

I would certainly never have an abortion, I consider it murder.

abortion isnt black and white tink its very hard to understand till ur in the position. It can b seen selfish to abort a baby and take its life away, but it is also can be seen selfish to keep a baby with nothing to offer it, no home,food,clothes,education. love can only cover so much..dats no way of life to offer a child.

and its not so easy to hand a piece of u ovr which you carried and luked after 4 9 long months after so aboption isnt as easy and straight cut either. dnt it aint dat easy

You're right, no matter what a woman decides, it's not always easy. I would have to say though that no one can judge for sure the quality of someone's life. For instance, my mother had no education, no source of income when she left my abusive biological father. Many suggested abortion. Times were very hard for a while, but I am so glad my mother didn't abort me.

This is only one story, I'm sure for every good story there is a bad one, but if you agree the fetus is alive, justifying abortion would be the same as justifying infanticide due to these conditions. We must not be so eager to deal out death in judgement, even the very wise cannot see all ends of what a person may or may not become. Some of the most compassionate, beautiful people came from tough beginnings. Some of the worst people came from perfect ones. It's not for us to decide.

If you agree the baby is a person, then nothing can justify killing it. If you believe it isn't, there is no need for justification.

@sexysadie wow youre comment offended me. i do not believe in abortion there are so many people who CANT have children (therefore adoption) but, how the hell were you suppose to know if your son would turn out that way? how dare you say that. i mean i know, he isnt the best person in the world..maybe he wouldnt have turned out that way, if his mom had faith in him..and didnt always think he was a mistake.

SexySadie. I find your comment lack to taste. People can still not choose abortion to sovle their problems. That is what ADOPTION is for. It's your kid's fault for being a child molestor, but abortion is still wrong unless very specific life threatening reasons.

I had an abortion 8 years ago. There is not a day that goes by that I dont miss my baby and cry for it . I have two babies now but they have never replaced my baby. I was uneducated and had nothing to offer a baby but now i know things would have worked. I would have made it work. I hope one day me and my baby are together in heaven. Please dont let them take your baby! God will be there for you and things will be ok. Protect your baby dont live with this lifelong pain as I do.

Before you make your choice, listen to my story. I wasn't prepared to have a child, and I knew in my heart I shouldn't have one. The father wasn't trustworthy (he left when my son was 2), and I was unstable (later diagnosed bipolar). But I let some prolifers talk me into having the baby. Now, 31 years later I have a son who is a convicted child molester who still lives with me in my trailer. He has to register as an offender and is unemployed. My gut told me to abort, but I didn't listen.

@ariana1211 It will be AWESOME! By far the best thing that will EVER happen to you! I have three kids, the first two planned and the last one a surprise. I love them all but the first baby is always something special. The first time your baby looks at you and says "Mommy, you know what? I love you!" will make all the hard times well worth it. Stick to your convictions and don't let ANYONE tell you you're wrong!
