nunca encontrare en youtube el video original de disco dewanne ...lo vi de niño...ella salia cantando en un concierto y en la entrada del concierto salia el novio fumando y molesto... mucha nostalgia me embarga ...
@orios511 Nazia Hassan was from Pakistan not India. She was a very patriotic Pakistani. Read some of her interviews, she loved her country, Pakistan, and loved her Pakistani people.
@4EverPakistani Agreed, although the song was composed by an Indian (Biddu)..which to me is the loveliest thing about Nazia, that her charm and grace knew no national boundaries.
agradesco k subieron tanlindos videos y la verdad k si me hicieron regresar a mi juventud y lastima k ya no esta sino hubiera sido muy lindo seguirla escuchando y agradecerle por tan linda voz !!!gracias por subir sus videos
for all of your kind information, this film was made in 1982, that time was so tight in Pakistan by Zia ul haq, very strick senor policies, according to that policy, the video was shot perfectly, so please realize things and era, DO NOT compare this making to todays bollywood style, BABRA did great job, proud to be pakistani.

Like your Indian shitt HUH ? You mother fucking Indian copying all Hollywood Movies and stealing song from around the world , Go and pray for your Monkey God
Biddu, who led a famous and very popular disco orchestra in the 1970's, composed this song in one night. Check out my channel for a number of his recordings from the 1970's or do a search for Biddu Orchestra.
To bashir1980: If you like this song then you should prefer 1970's music. This is essentially a disco song that is simply missing the violins and orchestra. It was already old fashioned by the time it was released as disco music was already being phased out at that time... Check out my channel for some classy music from the 70's :]
Where r those directors of Lollywood? Where r those singers of Lollywood? Where r those actors of Lollywood? Where r those producers of Lollywood? How sad that these great works now only become the memories of the past. V dont even propagate our past work thats why in the HOLLYWOOD film Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London PAKISTANI great actor Waheed Murad called by Leilah Isaacs character Sabeen remembers Waheed Murad. Frankie Muniz as an INDIAN actor which is WRONG he was a PAKISTANI.
Okay, why was my previous comment marked as "spam?" Was it something bad I said? I was only trying to compliment on the song, because it's a true classic. Just gimme a break, at least.
Chariabawla, firstly you have exaggerated album's sale tenfold.
Secondly, yes, the choreography and cinematography are not upto the mark but Pakistani films have never been technically efficient. They are loud, over the top melodramatic and jingoistic, even the love stories. As for the dance, dont forget this was under Zia, thats probably the best they could have done with.
Lastly for your comparison with Indian films, even with this "do aane ki direction, ghatia editing, dhai rupe ka stage... etc etc" the film must have been a great one since it was lifted scene to scene by Indians in 1984 and copied as Jhota Sach with Dharmendra and Rekha. Bet that should make you proud.
The song is so persistently popular and has stood the test of time, despite a crappy video and sub par choreography. It sounds so much like her Aap Jaisa Koi in its feel. What's disturbing about the concept of the video is that the entire family (including underage kids) are sitting in the audience and watching this bar dancer dance and gyrate with a smile on their face. LOL...just something I noticed after all these years.
LADIES AND GENTS,,,here is the very rare example of the actual playback singer been FAR BETTER in all aspects than the so- called good looking actress!!!lol!!! OH NAZIA,,,YOU WERE SO BEAUTIFUL,,MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!
this is also an example of pakis not knowing the actual worth of any thing. this album sold over 14 million copies worldwide. this song hit us (billboard chart/saturday night fever)charts, became no.1 overnight in peru, brazil, russia, south africa, japan, china and look at how bad this director has treated this song, dhai rupe ka stage, do aane ki direction, ghatia editing, ghatia tareen print.. maa bahn aik kardi song ki.. very disappointing.
Chariabawla ji wat're u talking about?? u're comparing the 80's generation ...the technology they had then...but still were at the top of the charts...oh bhai...ab takh log suntay hain unke gaane...jaise ke Mohd. Rafi..they'll live 4-eva...no matter wat :)
Or maybe it shows the worth of a loser indian who doesn't even know a F**K about the eighties!! This video is probably made in india as nazia did sing for some indian movies or they incorporated her songs in them.
It is like atif aslam does now for indian movies.. The really funny thing charia wala is that india with a bigger population has nothing to show for singers except remixers. Heck, look at how many medals China won and the so-called "competition" from INdia won. lolooll
i think either you are not following me or i am not following you.. i am a pakistani.. not an indian .. and i am against the pakistani film industry not the singer(NAZIA)
If you are comparing videos of the 80s in the subcontinent, then check out the video on youtube of Boom Boom for an Indian movie Star during this same time period. You wont see much difference in the setting, mood, sets, and even dance steps. That's just how the quality of films was in that period.
I hve seen the boom boom vid,I know tht these are both from the same era, and after knowing all this i commented what i have commented. Now if we talk about comparison,we talk about the sound editing, video editing, stage, choreography,if we look at the indian version boom boom,it looks hundred times more graceful, subtle, and glamorous, you just dont take a song,a camera, heroine and start making a movie, you work hard like the indians, this is why their movies are much better than ours today even..
I also watched the indian song from film Star. Choreography sucks . U are a perfect example of people who are way too impressed with the bollywood. The choreography does not match with the fast music or highs and lows in the track. thats how the things were in 80s.

Yo vivi mi adolecencia en México, al ritmo de esta hermosa melodia de una tierra lejana (india). Dios te bendiga, Nazia Hassan.
I lived my teenage days in México enjoying this beautiful melody from a very far land (India). God (Buda) bless you, Nazia Hassan.
