I was fascinated when I first saw a picture of this instrument & had to find out what it sounded like. So far, this is the first piece I've found where the lower registers are used to good effect. I love variety in music and love this piece.Daft question, anyone know what it's like transporting this instrument ??

This is de Visee's a-minor suite. Beautifully played! I loved the inegale swing you put into the allemande. The courante was also played beautifully: it's not an easy piece and you made it sound easy. Very clear, well-thought out interpretations! Thanks for such an interesting and instructive performance.

Although I am a lutenist myself, I find baroque music really difficult to understand and to get anything out of it. But this performance is really easily approachable, which shows mastery of the instrument, the technique and the pieces. It can be clearly heard that the performer has a very clear idea of how he wanted the pieces to sound.
