I was working in a movie theater last summer and I saw this film like 8 billion times, and everytime I saw it, it was great, trust me it holds up to repeat viewings and you read more into it the 2nd and 3rd time.

Yes everybody has a right to their opinion, if only they had a real opinion The way Americans seem to form their opinion these days is scary. If it's on tv, if everybody likes., cos everybody likes it it must be good. There rarely seems to be any real arguement or well founded debate on anything. I saw that film because of you. Didn't like it that much. Pretty depressing. Kind a contrived, an idea spread to thin. The plot is basically saying life sucks, but hey we're okay and after all we have our little family. The obstacles were brought into the plot a little to deliberate. Like hey, what kind a disappointing thing can we make happen now to confirm the plot. Wanna see a kick ass film, go see THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA !!!

Regarding conspiracy theories that Lucy is actually working for George Lucas or not even broadcasting from LA, I have heard her say before that a friend brings over the camera. By the way, if you throw a stick in LA it will hit a film student with a camcorder. My Sony Handycam has great quality too. She may be borrowing a friends equipment. Also it is very possible to edit like that, even with Microsoft Movie Makers.
Little Miss Sunshine is NOT to be missed. It takes you to the pinacle of hilarity as well as the pinacle of touching.
I fully understand why you loved this film Lucy. It's about total utter self acceptance no matter what the critics say.
I think it is so remarkable that the adult characters are each emotionally bankrupt in some way and yet this child has a sense of self everyone could learn from.
There is only one person who can clear the suspicions, and that is Lucy herself.

Hey, I just got to see that movie, "Little Miss Sunshine" this weekend. I too really thought it was great. Really interesting characters. I hope someday you get to act in a movie like that.
Have you never heard of i movie a very simple little programe that allows you to edit just like this, I've used it many time for college projects and it really is not hard so give her a fucking break and deal with it. Simple editing like shes used here is not difficult infact i've worked with kids on a learning programe who can do this with in one hour of teaching.
Your theory makes sense, but why not a mac? Also what if there is no camera man and she's using a tripod or a webcam. Also not much video editing skills aren't needed too do a web blog.
Consulting/insurance/... companies don't use expensive macs, they use PC's, because they don't need macs' functionality. The only niche of companies that use macs are those who are involved in graphic design/video editing/... sort of business.

Some offices do have a few macs around the place so they have tohe option of multiplatforming. And she doesn't say she takes a web cam with her she probably has a decent camcorder which you can pic up at decent prices these days and come in compact sizes. Insead of putting her down why don't you try and offer something constructive rather than shouting out and critizing all the time.

It appears this woman is a well paid actress promoting films for a major production company. I didn't know this until I saw segments of the trailer she integrated into "her" video promoting a potential block buster. Expect her to wind down her productions now that her cover is blown.

JohnLorican, I think you misread the movie, or don't very far into it. Yes the heroin-snorting grandfather teaches the little girl stripper moves. But he's not exploiting her, he's just showing love the only way he knows. The point was the hypocrisy of the pageant people, hating Olive's routine even though all the other girls were far more whored out. and Lucy, you have such an appealing personality. Keep doing these!!!
I am going to see Little Ms. Sunshine tonight. Your review totally confirms the feeling I already had about the movie. If you haven't had a chance, you should watch "Me and You and Everyone We Know".
Lucy, do you REALLY recommend a movie that features a pornography-obsessed grandfather teaching his 7-year old granddaughter how to do a striptease?...or the same man snorting heroin? It's good that the family finally came together at the end of the movie, but at Olivia's expense - a seven year-old putting on a sex show - yeesh!

Yes everybody has a right to their opinion, if only they had a real opinion The way Americans seem to form their opinion these days is scary. If it's on tv, if everybody likes., cos everybody likes it it must be good. There rarely seems to be any real arguement or well founded debate on anything. It seems like all of you just want to be famous these days.(look at sweet Lucy for instance)and get an endorsement deal and that's it. Keep dreaming that American dream and good night.

I saw that film because of you. Didn't like it that much. Pretty depressing. Kind a contrived, an idea spread to thin. The plot is basically saying life sucks, but hey we're okay and after all we have our little family. The obstacles were brought into the plot a little to deliberate. Like hey, what kind a disappointing thing can we make happen now to confirm the plot. Wanna see a kick ass film, go see THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA !!!

if u think the plot is representing how much life suck,& there's nothing good about it then u missed the point. i have watched this 5 times so far(one w/director's commentary) & i dont understand how someone cant learn from this movie.i did.. & it changed my outlook on life but hey a simple mind enjoys simple things. a simple non-golden globe nominee 4 best picture of the year movie such as The Devil Wears Prada probably satisfied you. go watch.Crash & explain how the best picture of 2005 sucks

Checkout the spring 05 issue of Mayfair, "Lilly"(aka LUCYinLA,LauraSegura) gets on her knees and blows like the wind.she's one frikin' hot lil nympho!She's got one fine set of jugs too! I have to agree with the people who think this is a fake. The other videos were more subtle. But this one isn't. Plus, realistically, how would you do this clip from work? do you carry a webcam in your purse?

Regarding conspiracy theories that Lucy is actually working for George Lucas or not even broadcasting from LA, I have heard her say before that a friend brings over the camera. By the way, if you throw a stick in LA it will hit a film student with a camcorder. My Sony Handycam has great quality too. She may be borrowing a friends equipment. Also it is very possible to edit like that, even with Microsoft Movie Makers.

Little Miss Sunshine is NOT to be missed. It takes you to the pinacle of hilarity as well as the pinacle of touching.
I fully understand why you loved this film Lucy. It's about total utter self acceptance no matter what the critics say.
I think it is so remarkable that the adult characters are each emotionally bankrupt in some way and yet this child has a sense of self everyone could learn from.

Have you never heard of i movie a very simple little programe that allows you to edit just like this, I've used it many time for college projects and it really is not hard so give her a fucking break and deal with it. Simple editing like shes used here is not difficult infact i've worked with kids on a learning programe who can do this with in one hour of teaching.

Your theory makes sense, but why not a mac? Also what if there is no camera man and she's using a tripod or a webcam. Also not much video editing skills aren't needed too do a web blog.

Consulting/insurance/... companies don't use expensive macs, they use PC's, because they don't need macs' functionality. The only niche of companies that use macs are those who are involved in graphic design/video editing/... sort of business.
OK. So you are saying that this high quality video/voice is recorded by a webcam, and she carries a tripod with herself to work everyday?!!!

Some offices do have a few macs around the place so they have tohe option of multiplatforming. And she doesn't say she takes a web cam with her she probably has a decent camcorder which you can pic up at decent prices these days and come in compact sizes. Insead of putting her down why don't you try and offer something constructive rather than shouting out and critizing all the time.

Come on. This is not some amateur vlogging. This is a prof. movie production by some company for online audience which is a pretty new/fast growing business.

It appears this woman is a well paid actress promoting films for a major production company. I didn't know this until I saw segments of the trailer she integrated into "her" video promoting a potential block buster. Expect her to wind down her productions now that her cover is blown.

Please think realistically. The office thing is clearly a big lie, for the reasons I stated before.
Lucy is an actress who is getting paid by some company to make video segments on YouTube, and, I must admit, she is a darn good actor/liar.
YouTube has the potential to be more profitable than Hollywood, since it is an online community, and many companies are investing in it.

How come she is always in a perfect frame, at the center, while the camera does not have any monitor so that she can see herself in it?? I know the camera has no monitor, since she is always looking directly at the camera's lens. Plus..
She always has a considerable distance from the camera, and still has a pretty high quality, noiseless voice!!!
I bet there is an at least 4-people crew and a director behind the camera.

How did you get the hold of the movie whose DVD hasn't come out, and use it in your video as the movie preview??
The videos are made in an office with a pro. HD cam-corder. There is no way that a girl can make such videos.
Guys who still think that Lucy is an honest, simple girl...WAKE UP! All her stories are fake. She is getting paid hundreds(or maybe thousands!) of dollars for each _videoblog_ she acts in by some company in LA.

"Real" actors refer to themselves as such, because they consider acting a profession. Every one I've asked about it says that. "Serious" professions aren't divided by gender: Dr./Lawyer/Teacher/Firefighter/Producer/Director/Actor.

JohnLorican, I think you misread the movie, or don't very far into it. Yes the heroin-snorting grandfather teaches the little girl stripper moves. But he's not exploiting her, he's just showing love the only way he knows. The point was the hypocrisy of the pageant people, hating Olive's routine even though all the other girls were far more whored out. and Lucy, you have such an appealing personality. Keep doing these!!!

Lucy, do you REALLY recommend a movie that features a pornography-obsessed grandfather teaching his 7-year old granddaughter how to do a striptease?...or the same man snorting heroin? It's good that the family finally came together at the end of the movie, but at Olivia's expense - a seven year-old putting on a sex show - yeesh!
That's quite an industry out there in LA that you're trying to break into!
