  • nice where did ya get this

  • @TheAsh1197 I built it myself

  • Need LSD DIFF!

  • what motor is in your buggy axels also .....great video and great build !!!

  • @jmecrg 4.0 Thanks! Jeep straight six, Unimog 406 axles

  • @Amund7 do you hear of anyone using 2 back axls of a combine?

  • @churd243 Nope

  • @Amund7 international's.......could be going whare no mans gone before.

  • diesel or gasoline?

  • @TheAntoineFranklin 4.0 Jeep, gas!

  • @Amund7 what happened at the end? did it over heat?

BTW nice buggy, love the suspension travel, I think this thing is more of a rock crawler than a buggy, but either way its pretty sweet, you did a really good job of it!

  • this is absolutely great......beautiful job man...

  • what is point tube buggy?

  • @suterman100 340 valid points immediately after hitting play.

  • looks like part of the notched or coped tube wasn`t welded up front?

  • @commando7144 Correct... I forgot some welds....

  • That is as mad as a box of badgers!. I can't wait to get into your other videos.

  • Thank you, comments like this makes my day! :) Hope you enjoy my other videos!

  • Awesome buggy. Too bad you forgot those welds but it looked like it ran great until then. It looks like you have separate brakes for front and rear. If you do then you can hit the front brakes a bit to force some power from the spinning wheel to the other wheel if the locker isn't working. I will start watching your other videos.

  • @187hoser Correct, except I have brakes for left and right

  • nice build man

  • wow.................

  • what is engine motors

  • look at it lean when he give it gas talk about flex wow

  • are those Uni-Mog axles?

  • bitchin, im buildin one like that.

  • That buggy kicks ass. The suspension travel is so crazy that it still writes a letter to aunt Doris every thursday, even though she's been dead for three years. I can't wait to see it with the welds finished and the front locker working. Nice Build!

  • @funtarded Haha, that's the funniest comment I've ever got, thanks! Take a look at my channel, I have a playlist for this buggy. Looking forward to reading more of your comments :)

  • Is that on open diffs?

  • @kx519 The front locker wasn't working yet

  • @Amund7 Oh okay, gotcha, sick buggy man. So what actually happened? coolant leak?

  • @kx519 Forgot to finish the bottom half of the welds on the tubes that hold the suspension. Tubes ripped out the upper half weld, and that tube contained coolant

  • Nice welds... They almost took invisible...

  • @thedirtygoat Correct, they weren't there!

  • You could ave had as much fun walking over those sticks mate... put ya bloody foot down!

    - Looks the part though. did he get run over at the end?? hehe, OUCH

  • umm i kno it took u like 4 years to build it and all but u could have went a little faster....like on that huge ass ditch when u were coming out, it would have made the vid a little bit more interestingbut i did understand goin slow on those boulders and you had some missing welds at 5:14

  • sick buggy, portals "uhuhuh"

  • am i the only one who noticed the missing welds? 5:14

  • @YOUNGDUM42 i noticed

  • one bad ass buggy!!! should take that thing to top truck challenge!

  • fucking awsone!!!

  • for crawling around. are tractor tires normally backwards?

  • Do you have seperate clutches or actuators on each wheel? The wheels don't move like a regular limited slip, or a locker.

  • mini size monster truck!

  • duck tape fixes everything

  • See, you fooled around with it til you broke it! lol

  • i like it are those portal axles ? thing flexes great good job

  • great job on this guys.. things like this happen but it still looks great ,,,

  • great job on this guys.. things like this happen but it still looks great

  • rigth seriously 0:48 to like 1:14

its a big buggy drive it on the frig

u dont ave to sit at 2mph or what ever it is in km/h

jes my sister can drive better in her push pram

come on im not tryen to be rude but cant it do for than 20mph if it cant drive it that fast its whats its made for

  • @weemannesbitt How come I built it, but you know what it's made for?

  • @Amund7 cause ive build plenty of buggies in my life time so far and i know what they can do and what they can't so unless u had a we shity 150 cc engine in that thing then it should defo go faster than that over pretty much anything so just put the pedal to the metal and lets c this thing realy going, and sure u pretty much got a roll cage on it so if it dose tip u can easly re-right it.

not tryen to be mean but i hate seening buggies go to waste !

  • @weemannesbitt If you watch my newer videos, there is pedal to metal. But what I am trying to say is that this buggy is built for trials. It's not about speed. And you don't seem to get that.

  • @Amund7 nice rig! The camera man is great, keep him on! Show us a hill climb next time!

  • @kathryn2348 Thank you. Take a look at my other videos, I have at least one hill climb in there (one of my newest videos)

  • looks like someone needs to learn how to drive... lol, im only 14 and i can drive my truck more badass than him over all my bumpy 5 acre back yard, and trust me, when i say bumpy, i haveto for 50MPH minimum to not bottom out on the hills

  • @jungle307 Please note the title of this video, this is the absolute first test drive after 4 years of building. And, I don't see what's so bad ass about driving on bumps..? Unless you're in a Baja buggy of course.

  • @jungle307 Please note the title of this video, this is the absolute first test drive after 4 years of building. And, I don't see what's so bad ass about driving on bumps..? Unless you're in a Baja buggy of course.

  • @Amund7 i dont know some of those bumps can be pretty hardcore haha. its all about technique not speed. sweeeet rig though

  • @jungle307

if u went to fast in trials u would loose because u would go outside the boundary.

skill is not just about driving fast, anyone can go fast and crash, but not everyone can control the vehicle exactly and precisely over tight and complex obstacles.

When u get older u will learn this hopefully.

  • @jungle307 Gosh shut up and let people have their fun. Be 1 month old and drive like a maniac what do others care.

  • @jungle307 Nobody gives a fuck how old you are. :)

  • @jungle307 good for you but hes not on pavement

  • @jungle307 wow man, your really cool, and soo badass!! bumps? holy shiit, you must be a great driver... Faggot

  • @jungle307 no one cares faggot

  • @jungle307 Loser!

  • y was the frame leaking

  • pretty sweet, but i guess you learnt not to use your main frame tubes as fluid passages for coolant the hard way.

  • lol

er dette samme kjøretøy som ble brukt videoen Amunds rørbil på norges beste prosjekter?

  • @NorwegianManiac Jepp!

  • @Amund7 ok, digger buggy"n

  • I don't really like buggy's, but this thing is set up beautifully!!! totally baddass. When I get enough money to build a truck with MOGs, It will be setup very similar to this. WHat is the gearing on the transfer case?transmission?

  • @slightdrift Engine/auto/transfer case is stock Cherokee, i.e. AW4 & NP231. Low range is 2,73:1, first in AW4 I can't remember, I think between 2.0 and 2.5

  • I don't really like buggy's but this thing is set up beautifully!!! totally baddass.

  • Norsk å greier :D Tøft !

  • those tires would be great in the mud. but they look like they are a little out of their element here..

  • nice

  • how did you make it?

  • @l3w15h0y

    bad ass motherfucker power

  • Haha. That's right man!

  • is it fixed yet?

  • @bamaboy145 Sure is, take a look at my other videos (and 'new tires on the buggy' in the related box to your right)

  • Comment removed

  • I can't believe all the people telling you to get lockers. If they were smart they would have noticed that several times you stopped, engaged the lockers, and then went right over what you were climbing.

  • looks like you could use a front locker.

  • nice those r some pretty good motors im glad u didnt drop in a crate motor 350 lil every othe jackass on myspace lol

  • what size motor is that looks pretty big

  • It's a 4.0 from a Cherokee.

  • that is cool as hell

  • Thank you! :)

  • wtf u got a buggy with a big engin ..so that u can go 1mph ova a bunch of stiks and stones

  • Yep!

  • to much air in those tires. thats why ur havin a hard time gettin over things. just thought id say

  • all wheel streeing sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • Hey dude I love your buggy, Sounds like jeep 4.0

  • Correct!!

  • What kind of engine do u have in it?

  • hey man you need lockers lol just joking nice ride. Any 4x4 thats built like yours will break some times because its so custom its hard to find parts that wont break another part of the truck, Like tire size, gears, power ect but it looks like your going to have a pretty nice 4x4 though!

  • make a real buggy :)

  • I think that both your lockers weren't working, unless you had them disabled, and you should probably protect your steering. I couldn't really tell what happened to the buggy, but it looks good. Also, if you're gonna make it for crawling, then you might wanna flip the front tires for better traction. It works on rc crawlers, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on this.

  • how did you make ur 4 wheel stering

  • You need lockers

  • how big are those tires?

  • 20x20, they measure about 49" tall

  • man put on some 54 inch crawlers!!! nice build though

  • all that money and no lockers? lockers are number one behind big tires!!!!

  • for the third time it's got lockers! Well to be fair, front locker wasn't working in this vid, but it is now. Rear was there.

  • the tractor treads it has on are the best you can get for mud its called a "self clearing" tread it moved through the mud the mud is forced to the outsides of the tread and the deeper the lugs go in the better it can claw its way through

  • you need lockers

  • again, I have lockers

  • thats $15,618 in US currency

  • Dude put some lockers in the front and rear if you don't already have. Put some 39.5 - 44 inch iroks or blue label bf Goodrich tires on it and your set.

  • dude look at the wheel traval on that thing

  • Amund 7, how much did this cost you total when it was all said and done?

  • That's a tough question. I have estimated about 80-100 000 NOK, not counting tools and consumables. I also haven't really added all the small things, so 100 is probably the most realistic

  • do you know what that translates into american dollars?

  • in today's rates it's about 15000 USD

  • i love the design looks kick azz buddy. Great job

  • That thing is awesome!

  • If you turn your tires around you'll get better traction.Instead of the V pattern going like this / \ turn them around so the V goes like this \ / so the open end of the V pattern is forward it grips much better.just a thought.

  • The problem with that is that the V fill up with mud. Its supposed to be the point first, its so that the mud doesnt will the groves. Its the same for road cars basially, where the groves are not for traction itself, but to simply let the water out underneath the tires quicker.

  • but with crawling the V towards the back gives you better traction. And for big tires with tread like this the V's are for traction they do push the mud out of the way better with the V forward but not very good for crawling

  • you need lockers

  • i have lockers

  • that wasnt cheep at all to make

  • how did u get portal's on yur buggy I Own a mog but I heard those things were pretty hard to find

  • What do you mean, how did I put them on, or how did I get a hold of them? This is Norway, I searched, bought, sold and swapped different axles for almost two years :)

  • how did u get a hold of them cause I no they're hard to find

  • this is fukin mint i wna make a buggy but i dont no how to do the suspension cud u help me m8 thnx

  • Weld two square tubes to the axle to form a triangle, use a big ball joint at the end and then a rod along the axle. connect both to chassis and voila, simple!

  • hva var det som gikk galt/ what broke??

  • I forgot some important bracing of the part of the frame that holds the rear suspension, so the whole bottom of the chassis broke loose, ripping a hole in the framerail that transports coolant... that's early tests go, right?

  • Coolant through the tubing?? Thats a great idea that i have never thought about. Nice rig bud.

  • Well I figured the tubes were aldready there, why run more tubes? :) Fit together pretty nicely, one could almost believe I thought of it beforehand!

  • that is brilliant! kind a pain if it ever fails though.

  • Now that's so cool looking!

  • what did u use for axles?

  • Unimog 416 w/ stock disc brakes
