    Thanks for posting

  • at 0.24 does she say "..vert in the hole.."?

  • @voxbox500 She says "You blow so hot, then you blow cold, When I make adjustments to your vertical hold". Back in the eighties that was a clever pun on the knob you had to twiddle( no pun intended) to stop the picture on your telly from scrolling up and down and hem, placing her boyfriend in a laying down position."

  • @voxbox500 Verticle hold.

  • I heard this song I think only one time in my life (in the 80's) and never forgot it. I kept looking for it since the 80's and never got to hear it again until just now (2011). I've been looking for it online for years but couldn't even find out who sang it.

  • We have been looking for this video for many years! The dancer with blonde hair is my uncle. His name is Kevin Searle and was a big dancer in the 80's working for many shows e.t.c. Just hope he don't dance like that next time I see him.

  • The 1980's is really worth living in!

  • Thank you for the memories.....

  • I cant believe i cant find Amazulus all over the world video anywhere! it was a hit in 1986? remember the video when i was a kid

  • Thank you for this one! Haven´t seen it in ages!

  • anne marie i fancy the arse of you,,,after all these years, lol

  • I know.. its a thing of beauty..

  • LMFAO!!!! omg my mom always told me when i was little and this song would come on ide start dancing around, ty for having this video, and yes i agree with everyone she is so beautiful

  • She was a stunner, bet she still is. I love the bit at 3.15 where she does her "come to bed" eyes.

  • WOW!!! This is a "KOOL" video, It would have been awesome if they had come to

    New Zealand....they were chart toppers.

  • I listen to "Mony Mony" many times, but can find no indication they ever recorded it - since I have it, it would seem they did. I look it up in lyrics on the web, and no Amazulu - Billy Idol, et al. No Amazulu YouTube "Mony Mony"? I would love to see them perform "Mony Mony". Any ideas?

  • I believe that this was Amazulu's first release which eventually peaked at no. 12 in the UK charts in August 1985. They had a single top 10 hit in 1986 although some of their releases failed to chart at all. Their last UK top 40 hit was 'Mony Mony' which peaked at no. 38 in October 1987. Annie Amazulu did go on to have a solo career but to no avail with any follow on success.

  • Yeah, got the episode of the Young Ones with Amazulu on video ("Look,Amazulu!" "Is that reet? Ah'm a Glasweigan" ) LOOL!!

  • Wow she was beautiful...whereabouts?

  • Anne-Marie Ruddock and Co. sure did have

something great going on...This stuff really

needs to be reissued...Quality music lasts

    forever!

  • I've been looking for the "British" version of this song released on mp3 for years and I've yet to find it. Can anyone help?

  • BTW, Amazulu also did this song live on

    the MTV "120 Minutes"...featured in a skit...

Does anybody have it? Thought I saved that

    on VHS...but I misplaced it...

  • I know they did "Moonlight Romance" on the Young Ones. Didn't know about the VH1 appearance!

  • Loved Amazulu! Just happy, vibrant, totally happy music.

  • This song reminds me when I went to visit my cousin in N. Ireland the summer of 85! , it was in the top 10 then and was playing all the time . I bought a complication tape with this song on it, thank god I did, because sadly this song never really made it to Canada !!

  • I loved Amazulu as a teen. This is my favourite track. Brilliant!!

  • remember dancin to this wen it first came out in the red lion pub in carlisle , wonder wot the girls i was dancin with r doin now , ahhhh memories

  • lead singer is sooooooooo hot, what i'd give to have just one night with her

  • Love the background music

  • Some of Amazulu's style was probably more associated with Italo-Disco which never really took off in the 80's here in the UK despite the fact that it was the mainstream on the European continent in 1985. They were around for a couple of years with 'Mony Mony' being the last hit in late 1987.

  • They were WONDERFUL :)))) Very popular in South Africa in the 80's (released by EMI)

  • the lead singer: Anne-Marie Ruddock. Very good!

  • Wow! The lead singer is absolutely gorgeous!
