Taliek Brown was amazing. he controlled the floor so well. i think he gets ignored cus gordon and emeka was in the spotlight for most of the time. but taliek would embarrass his opponents with his passing skills. i love gordon and emeka , boone, anderson, denim, and the whole team... but taliek is so under-appreciated , sometimes it seems unfair.

This team was fantastic, just the right mix of sturdy veterans and exciting young players. It's not every year you have the likes of Josh Boone and Charlie Villanueva as freshman contributors. The depth on this team was insane.

Uconn's 2004 National Championship is easily one of the best teams in the history of college basketball. They had matured players with experience that knew how to win.

They could rebound, play great interior defense, and score on offense anyway they choose to. They also had a great team balance and depth that most teams can only dream of. The 2004 team is great example on how to build a successful college basketball team to do what every team and player thrives for, a national championship.

this years team has potential, but nowhere near this o4 team. Gordon and Okafor were more mature and talented than Price and Thabeet. The whole team was more solid. Josh Boone, Charlie Villanueva, Taliek Brown, Marcus Williams, Rashad Anderson, and Denham Brown. One of if not the best college basketball teams of all time IMO.

Before 2005, UConn mens team used to only be able to get the sub-par players while Duke or NC were loaded with NBA caliber recruits. In 2004 Calhoun had only two McDonald All-Americans and the entire Duke roster was filled them. So what does that say?
