Seen it with this tune which i prefur but last time it was repeated ITV had changed it to Hi-Ho Sliver Lining. Wasn't as effective i found.

greengrass was the best character on heartbeat, was probably the only reason i ever watched it actually.

i knew a guy we nicknamed greengrass aswell, he looked really similar, did the same sorta jobs, and had the same sorta personality too, on his old truck he ended up with sign writing saying 'Greengrass on a mission'

him and blaketon (when he was sergeant) were great together, it wasnt the same when blaketon left the police and greengrass leaving finally ruined the show

Yes - but surely one of them should have been aware. There must have been someone from the NYMR supervising the job.

Note that none of the actors or directors appear to understand the British signalling system. The policeman shouts "drop the signal" and the arm is dropped from the on position to the off - the opposite way round to safe practice. Why did no-one from the NYMR tell them?
