I think if its a 410 gauge and has no stock you dont need the tax stamp otherwise you do. Legal length for shotgun barrels was 18 inches last time I checked.

Yes you could rig up a foregrip, but I wouldn't want to. I find the main reason for a foregrip is to handle and swing firearms with a lot of weight in the front....it gives more leverage. This doesn't need it and would probably slow aiming down for me slightly.
A license would be easier. You submit a request for the SBS on a Form 4 to the ATF. That and $200. When approved, they will issue an actual Tax Stamp, a $200 tax stamp on the form with the serial number and description of your short barreled shotgun/rifle. There are several other hoops to jump through to submit the required paperwork along with your request to them. See your local gun dealer or someone in your area that has gone through the process to help you along.

Yes a Double tax stamp. $200 for your SBR then another $200 to apply for a silencer. Suppressors cost as much as the guns some times. Unless you go through a manufacture its cheaper I have seen A Ruger Mini 14 13 Inch Suppressed for 1600 then top that with the $400 for your stamps stil cheaper then buying them alone.

Yes its really easy. Ordering one custom built is more exspensive campared to building yourself. Also I advised applying now before the Ban takes effect cause that wil be no longer and your guns wil be considered preban.
Depends on what you want to use it for. The M4 will have many available parts if we ever had a war on our own soil. The Tromix would need a gunsmith if it broke down. If you don't need it for a defensive rifle in that situation I'd say go for the M4. It will have better resale and support. The Tromix is hands down cooler!

I'm still waiting for it to clear BATF. My buddies is still going strong, but is in need of a serious cleaning. The gas/Piston setup needs a good cleaning every once in a while as the plastic wadding material builds up heavy.His was an early gun. Mine is later. Mine is more refined in finish. I'm not a big shotgun fan, but was willing to dole out the cash for this with little hesitation after shooting my buddies. He did have a problem with his front sight coming loose/off. That was fixed free.
The muzzle flash is kinda the point...LOL! Check out my other video where another friend is shooting honeypotspamtrap's 8" Tromix. HPST was just saying that as it's a common question he and I are asked all the time. The noise is much more a distraction than the flash. These are pretty loud and I've shot a lot of loud things.
