Weird. I'm finding myself looking up a fair bit of Pink Floyd the last few days, and I'd never really thought to do it much before. I have "Piper..." and downloaded a bootleg of "Vegetable man" after seeing a documentary about Syd Barrett but that's as far as it went.

By the way, I can see why David Gilmour's tone at this time is so sought-after. It's a thing of beauty.

Currently my favorite bands are Pink Floyd and Dream Theater. Most people who likes Dream theater love Pink Floyd and probably vice versa. Try listening to the first few seconds of their song Count of Tuscany or Octavarium. The latter is very Pink floydish.
