That is why I hate taxis and buses because they think they don't have to follow the traffic rules. They always have to pull out right in front of you. To me, I think they only care about money not safety.

@TacoSoft Sometimes the radio station seems to pick the right time to play the song... It's like in one of my other videos where I had a person walk out in front of me and they were playing "I get knocked down, I get up again" or similar.

@uncredited1928 The traffic rules state that you are to stop at an orange light if it is safe to do so. You can actually receive a ticket for racing through an orange light.

@rocketman5989 Just usual behaviour from the taxis here (mostly student drivers with no idea of any road rules). We have a serious problem with taxis here in our city. If I have to catch one, I walk down the line til I find one that knows the rules, can speak english and is alert. Most people don't realize they can take any cab off the line (They don't have to take the 1st).

At the bottom of the video there is live GPS telemetry ie 27 27.9248s, 153 01.8244e which is the corner of Wharf street & Queen street Brisbane city. If you type this information in to google maps it will show you exactly where I am at the time...

NOTE: Sometimes in the cbd (tall buildings area) the GPS is out up to 100 metres due to signal reflection off the buildings although in the suburbs it is very accurate to within 3 - 5 metres

@04smallmj Why ? Does the River Thames wind around in a S pattern ? Our river snakes through a fair bit of Brisbane... Brisbane is nick named "The river city" and also "The sunshine state" - ie Sunny days, clear skies (most of the time)

@04smallmj No. Only 1 of my vehicles is currently white although that's the one I drive around the most these days. I must drive the others one day soon so they don't feel left out. :D

@04smallmj Only 1 of them is auto. That's the one you see most of the videos filmed in, although I prefer manual transmission.

Auto is great if you're drinking a slurpee though. LOL I've tried that in a manual. No fun at all . (unless you're cruising the highway that is)

@Coolito I agree, although most taxi drivers are student drivers where they have no road rules. I'm always amazed at how stupid the taxis behave here.

@drsquirrel0 Nah, Don't wanna be mean & give him a heart attack. He's actually one of the very few Australian taxi drivers. (10 in total I think).We have about 5000 taxi drivers here I think (10 Australian I think.)

that guy in the taxi u horned was like hey thanks u must give way just like a bus, they don't know how to drive if u notice there all immigrants legal Aliens that's cause no Aussie want to drive a stupid taxi, and the two fire trucks in that tunnel that sounded so loud but after they went past there was a nice echo

Ok I'm confused on the first clip. Why are cars turning when your light is green and theirs is red.

@Kartracer6 There are no traffic lights at the intersection I'm at or the sporty car or SUV or BMW. The lights further up are green and you can turn right when it's clear because the lights are green on both sides. The side street in the distance is red although no one is turning out of there.

The incident with the sporty car & SUV & then me & BMW is a simple give way rule violation by the SUV & BMW.
