I'm an Arab and the only time I held a gun was 4 clay pigeon shooting, I am not a terrorist I never killed any1 in my life. Why am I and millions of other people being accused 4 murder when its the Israeli's. This is fascism.
@blog2038 hahahahahhahahahahahahahah! Me in 1948 I got the shotgun I use 4 clay pigeon shooting, gathered other Arabs in the world and and I said, hey Arabs lets go into the Israeli's land, do an "ethnic cleansing" 2 the Israeli's and rename it Palestine. We then got America 2 give us free nukes, we got control over the media and every time they don't do EVERY THING 2 our favour, we would make a low budget song like this 2 insult them. I'm a horrible killer just because I'm Arab. LOL. Ignorant!
@blog2038 No wait, maybe u didn't get the full sarcasm there, but most of my Muslim brothers never did anything wrong, every single part of that comment was sarcasm (apart from the bit which said 'Ignorant'), if u research properly, u will find that I reversed that whole reply, in a way that the Arabs r the Israeli's, do u know what I mean. Type in on youtube, 'Good Jews Who Refuse to Kill Palestinians' then type in 'Teddy Katz' it will show actual Israeli's who r against what Israel is doing.

Assad has already a year ago received a role in a song called "The Three Terrors" (uploaded by LatmaTV). As he was already back then labelled as "serial killer who should spend all his life in jail" he received already a quite matching description.
I know. I loved it. Their portrayal of that knuckle dragging shaved ape EyoreDoggin was hilarious. The Turks are hilarious as they are arrogant and complete losers who have never accomplished anything. They may be the missing link.
Please don't put ALL in one basket. Yes, it's not unlikely that a majority of them support him and his ideas. And if you say that the Turkey of today or near future shouldn't join the EU (or EUSSR) then I agree with you but don't forget that it's still very likely that there are (in Turkey) minorities who don't support him and but civilised life.
@hammondtree They revel in the barbarisn that mohommedanism brings. Turkey should never be allowed into the EU. They are not of human stock and are incompatible with civilization. Asia Minor should be returned to its rightful owners the Italians.
every year. At the same time hollywood is the industry selling us all this superficial crap, that the uneducated masses buy.
Also, please don't tell me this is the first time you hear of the mainstream entertainment industry being mindless and negative as a whole. This argument has been made a billion times, i'm certain it isnt the first time you heard it, so stop pretending that this is new information to you.
To kenzo4000..............the Loony Left government does not represent the democratic majority in Israel. The Left rides rough shod over any law it does not agree with, even treason! International law and treaty has been abrogated even though it gives the Jewish state legitimacy and tiltle to all the land west of the Jordan river. The Left are insane, there is no other explanation.
@fivish Maybe, but i really don't see the current government being any better. Netanyahu the war criminal is even more extreme than past prime ministers.
exactly what they were. Not to mention that so many current Israeli politicians and representatives of government have ties to these former zionist extremist groups.
I'm not sure why i'm even mentioning this actually because actions speak louder than words. Israels actions as of late are a clear indication of their extremist views, and lack of repsect for international law.
Totally excellent! And great news that so many slow people needed just one year to understand that the Gaza Flotilla was just a cheap stunt by the terrorists and their allies, despite the fact that the second annual Gaza Flotilla seemingly used the same strategy as the first one.
A trivial question: what's the original song? I can't figure it out - it's very famous but I forgot the original lyrics. Thanks for your answers.
Oh my oh my, this song is so true. Right away when the media turned its eyes on arab countries and the revolts, you could just see how hamas and others tried to desperately step up their game, and they still are trying. But sowwwyyy, our pro-hamas media is too busy in Libya and murdoch
Blood of the Palestinians? What about the blood of the Jews? Or do you believe that every Israeli death is justified and every Arab death is a war crime? Israel has a right to defend herself from acts of terror by Hamas. Israel ships 6,000 tons of goods daily into Gaza. Gaza is on the verge of collapse of Hamas imposing strict Islamic law on the area and refusing to stop firing rockets at Israeli civilians. They want peace? Recognise Israel as a Jewish state & stop carrying out acts of terror.
@berkoman1 I don't like to generalize amongst all people, regardless of what ideology they follow. But zionism by itself is absolutely racism. Zionism itself is not even a jewish ideology, it has only become ingrained amongst the jewish people. The creator of modern day zionism was an atheist jew.
@kenzo4000 this is Just what I said! You do not know what is Zionism! You can not say anything! You live in Canada, live quietly and leave this place alone ....we,the middle east's residents, do not need anyone else that would add fire here.
@Judahsch You nevr heard of ancient Philistine ? That is where the name are from and one of there cities where Gaza. The modern Palestenians largley descend from the Philistines and the Caanite groups including the jews from the ancient times.
@Eopyk complete and utter lies. when the roman empire conquered the region, including the land of israel they changed it to Syria-Palestina. the palestinians of today are syrians and jordanians who spread out from their original land to palestine centuries after the philistines disappeared from the region and history itself.
philistines is merely english abbreviation. they called themselves Plishtim. doesn't even sound the same
whoever taught you this nonsense has been feeding you bullshit.
@BakaWarsh WHat are you arguing about at this point? I'm pretty sure one way or another they have more right to that land, not just by the simple fact that many of them have been living on it for hundreds of years!!
If you say there is no such thing as a Palestinian, well then there is no such thing as an Israeli. Half of them are from Europe and have never been to Israel before getting the right to build their homes there! lol
@kenzo4000 you're misunderstanding my argument. i'm not saying there aren't any palestinians today. what i'm saying is that the existence of israel created the 2 nationalities. in 48 the israeli nationality & the palestinian nationality in 67. until those dates the rest of the world referred them by their ethnicity. only when israel took control of gaza from egypt and the west bank from jordan & the arabs came under israel's rule they were dubbed as a nationality and not only ethnicity.
@BakaWarsh Officially speaking the Palestinian people were not reffered to as such before the dates you mentioned. You are a right about that. But the people living in that region before these dates still had their own ethnic nationality, it just might not have been officially recognized by the international court.
Either way, i'm not sure why you are bringing this up. Because from your previous reply it seems to me that you are trying to justify what is happening by delitimizing them
@kenzo4000 just to be clear, the "until those dates" line refer both to jews & arabs
Look, the majority of israelis r pro 2-states. but we don't want a neighbouring failed state. Palestinian territories right now have the infrastructure for a self maintained state & can probably procure aid. But it also has a terrorist faction - Hamas (+uncontrolled cells) as the stronger faction. It's cut off into 2 parts (a major problem).religious factions from both sides r going to bicker over jerusalem.
@BakaWarsh A large amount of Israeli citizens might want a two state solution, but that doesn't mean the government does. The fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization is really just an excuse. If they did not want to work with terrorists then why did they work with Hamas before when Arafat was in power? It's not like they were any less radical in the past.
As for Jerusalem it is quite simple. East Jerusalem belongs to Palestine, it is colonized territory.
@BakaWarsh At least from the Israeli side, until they accept going back to pre 1967 borders there cannot be any two state solution. International law has to be upheld, otherwise it is a joke. At least agree with me on that aspect.
@kenzo4000 i already said. i live within the green line. i don't give a shit about gaza, just as long as they stop sending suicide bombers or launching rockets, technically israel is already out of gaza. yes it is under naval and economical siege, but the IDF only comes in to take down operatives and there aren't any settlements. the west bank lines are needed to be revised and readjusted to modern reality, but other then that, sure give it back as long that they demilitarize.
@BakaWarsh No it is not. Genetic studies show this. Do you think the old population completly disapeard no they intermarried and assimilated with other cultures.
Modern day Palestenians do have a large extent of there herritage from the ancient levant. Your argument assumes that all ancient population disapeard without a trace and that counters all history.
Just like Lebanese people to an extent descend from Phonecians, Palestenians descent to a large extent but complety from the ancients.
@Eopyk palestinians, like many of the arab muslim cultures that exist today, are descendants of the arabs who lived in what is today saudi arabia, who spread out through the middle east and north africa during the age of muslim conquests and pilgrimages. (starting around 630 AD), after the byzantine and the roman empires before it conquered it and sacked most of it. the same occurred with most empires that conquered israel since the Babylonians and until the ottomans.
saying the palestinians are descendants of philistines is false. it's like saying that the arabic Persians today are descendants of the Babylonian Persians that lived there originally, people from egypt are descendants of the ancient Egyptians, or Greece today are descendants spartans&athenians. your genetic "studies" is a total fib. documented history shows the shifts (& eradication) of peoples living in the Mediterranean area. muslims didn't intermarriage back then. it was forbidden.
@BakaWarsh No that is a grand missunderstanding. You see the original Arabs where a small population . They could not replace the entire population. They could how ever trough conversion to Islam culturaly arabise the population and with political elites this was possible. By learning the quran and political and economic benifets people adapted the arabic language and to an extent identity mixed with migration and intermarriage. To an extent Palestenians do descend from the ancients.
@Eopyk Yea i know, but you are talking about hundreds of years. In some case thousands of years. I could have more middle eastern blood than many of the jewish people growing up in Europe. For all i know my ancestors could have come from the middle east.
At this point these genetic connections are almost non existent. The only people that could have real links are the middle eastern jews.
@emmaford32 between 48-67 they were under jordan's & egypt's control (west bank\gaza). knowing themselves that they were descendants of jordanians, egyptians & syrians they had no need to for a national identity. when israel took the land from jordan & egypt they had a problem with their new illegal ruler. the creation of the palestinian identity was in order to wage a global camaign for awareness of their "plight" & to have a country according to the 67 lines, a proposal only they turned down
@BakaWarsh Are you saying that before 1948 they had a national identity which they lost between then & 1967? If, as you say, they were akin to the Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians, why did their brethren keep them in appalling conditions and refuse to help them? Israel did not take the land, she won the territory in a defensive war which under international law which makes her presence there legal. They are not interested in a 2 state solution based on any lines but a one state solution.
It’s wrong to apply the word “palestinians” exclusively to arabic population of Holy Jewish Land (aka “palestine” , if u prefer to name it so) because many nations coexist in this territory :
@iqry11 To call the jewish population semites in Israel and everwhere around the world is ridicilous as well. If we were to take your logic then there is no such thing as an Israeli, they all came from different Arab countries and half of their population is from Europe.
Calling people "arab swine" and people of the muslim religion as "animals" Then you wonder why people call such who make these comments zionists.
The most ridicilous thing is how some of these people then call others "anti-semites" to invoke something clearly wrong. It's like one person being racist towards another and then screaming racism after lol
@kenzo4000 The Kibbutz was, the smallest among those organizations. I know about it only because I read a (very interesting) book about the Shochat couple.
I think that "the best defense is attack" phrase is true, but not right. there are sayings in both sides of the argument which are silly and incorrect, but to argue that "the other side has those sayings, so it has no right to talk about our sayings" in the debate is a run out of the point (points?). Look for the "good ears", or stop talking.
@DrLening I don't understand your comment about "the other side has those sayings" Were you reffering to my comment when i said quite a lot of people here were being racist and discriminatory? I agree that both sides can be hateful, not going to argue there. But that doesn't mean we just brush those things aside. Racism and hatefulness should be exposed and there is nothing wrong with pointing out peoples hypocrisy.
@kenzo4000 I didn't want you to use the hypocrisy of individuals as an argument in the debate.
we have learned in the history class that there were much less then 1 million Arabs in Israel those days, though there were much more Arabs than Jews (the 80 thousands may sound right). I am not sure, but when one historian says the there were 400,000 Arabs in Israel in the end of the 19th century, and the other says 100,000 - you can understand my skepticism about information of that kind.
@DrLening Sorry i confused the dates. You are right there was not 1 million Arabs then. I have checked several sites and most state 600 thousand and up, and most agree that it was not lower than 500 thousand. My mistake, but either way you can see that there was a very significant Palestinian presence at the time.
The 100 thousand is a blatant lie. Even on Israels government website it will state 600 thousand.
@kenzo4000 You misunderstood me - by late 19th century there were aruond 100,000 or 400,000 Arabs here, and you referred to the twenties of the 20th century. By the way, remember that the First Aliyah (sound terrible in English, isn't it?) increased the number of Jews in Israel from about 25,000 lived in poverty to about 55,000 lived in greater poverty. We've learned that the Arab society began to increase as a permanent settlement in Israel any place where Jewish lousy farmers gave them work.
@kenzo4000 in no comment concerning the exodus have i claimed that jews in arab lands were rounded up and mass murdered. however, saying that no discrimination & violence toward jewish communities occurred post 48 is ignorant as well.
if it'll make u fee better, i can talk about the many chances both sides missed for reaching an agreement since as early as '37 & up to '08.
as for labeling, i already explained. the "zionism" you refer to as a derogatory is not the zionism most pro\israelis are
@BakaWarsh I never said that there was no discrimination and violence toward jewish communities pre or post ww2. But right now they are a tiny minority is most Arab lands.
As for both sides missing chances. WHy do you keep focusing on 1947, past 1967 it was Israel that denied any chance of a 2 state solution. They were not interesting in it. If you want a pretty good explanation on what was happening listen to Norman Finkelstein, he can explain it much better than i can.
@kenzo4000 as for racism - it exist everywhere in the world, it is part of fear misunderstanding. you think that palestinians don't chant "itbach al yahud" and other stuff - not just hamas, but many people within gaza and the west bank, as well as people outside israel. still as i have said, majority of israelis know that most palestinians are good people and islam is not a violent religion. just like groups in US&europe want certain ethincal immigrants out, doesn't make all people there racists
@BakaWarsh I completly agree with your on the racism comment. Majority of Israeli and Palestinians are good people, judaism and islam are both great religions. I never argued otherwise. I was simply talking about the hateful people who make these kind of racist comments.
In any serious study of the exodus, nowhere would it say that the jews were expelled, because the largest amount of them left on their own accord. Many were evacuated and most desired to live in the state of Israel.
The hate and violence that some incurred in Arab lands is entirely seperate and for the most part substantially lower in number to the terrorism afflicted by zionist extremist groups such as Irgun.
@kenzo4000 wiki/Aliyah. there was not a single organized aliyah from any middle eastern country until the establishment of israel. if jews did come, they came by tens or hundreds, not by thousands.
as proven before, u shift the focus to groups like irgun and continue to ignore all the rioting, pogroms, raids, terrorism done by arabs on jewish communities that let to irguns break from haganah to retaliate. islamic terrorism&violance overshadowed irguns shit even back then. u should read about it
@BakaWarsh Some would say that the exodus was first known during the late 19th century, but lets face it really happened after the mandate for Israel was passed, and after WW2 is when the conflict really started.
In Palestine i'm not sure what you would expect. Naturally upon a foreign population entering the lands in the hundreds of thousands, the people there would become resistent and rebel. That is not to say that one can accept the terrorism happening in all other Arab nations.
@BakaWarsh You are right when you say that they came by tens of hundred in the 1920's when the mandate for Israel was first passed. But lets face it majority of the people came after WW2 and in the first few years they did come in the hundreds of thousands. Coicedently the majority of terrorism afflicted upon the jewish people occured from 1948 on and majority of the jewish population in the Arab lands left post WW2.
@BakaWarsh But you are trying to paint this picture as if the majority of these things happened in early 20th century and the jewish population had to leave for Israel Post WW2 because of all the persecution. No the real exodus was happening during the mass immigrations post WW2.
@BakaWarsh So if the majority of this stuff was happening during the mass immigrations to Israel post WW2, was the immigrations a result of persecution or due to the establishment of the Israeli state?? Obviously the latter and to say that the jews in Arab lands had to leave because they were being prosecuted for the previous 20 years is just ignorant.
You are making it seem as if they had their own holocaust in the middle east decades before the mass immigrations.
@kenzo4000 just search "History of the Jews under Muslim rule" in wikipedia and spicifically read the sections "Early Modern Period" and "19th century" and tell me that jews left arab countries just out of zionistic aspirations...
@BakaWarsh In most Arab lands the jewish people wanted to leave. In 1948 the Iraq government actually forbade the emigration of jewish people on the grounds that allowing them to go to Israel would strenghten that state.
Look i'm not justifying the terrorism afflicted upon jewish populations in Arab lands in any way, but i think you are trying to illustrate a very different and innacurate narrative.
@BakaWarsh I find it funny how everytime i talk to someone with your views they always want to go back to 1948. It's as if they know they don't have much of an argument when talking about the situation now or anytime after 1967 war, so they go back to the furthest they can.
Also, i read your other comment saying how me and the other guy love to label those with opposiong views as "zionists, terrorists etc.." But take a good look at some of the comments here, including favoureted comments.
@kenzo4000 I know about the Kibbutz (another secret organization), the Irgun and the Lehi. The last two were a persecuted minority in the Jewish community and the Hagana and most of the people acted against them.
I've read that about 12,000 Jews came to Israel before the great masses of the first days of Israel, and after few Pogroms (Farhud, for example?). Correct me.
@DrLening The interesting thing about these zionist organizations is that there seemed to be a lot more opposition from the jewish population towards them in the past. Now many praise them and their actions. For example Tivni Livni doesn't believe they were a terrorist organization. Both of her parents were a part of it. You can actually find the video where she she says they were not terrorist on youtube.
@DrLening As for 12,000 jewish coming to Israel before the great masses, i don't know that is possible. I never denied that there was immigration to Israel before post ww2, it's just that the masses came after that time. The fact that at least half the population is of European descent should be indication that the majority came post ww2.
I'm going to have to check the population statistics, its hard to get proper numbers but i'm sure there is a reliable place to find them.
@DrLening Also the Lehi group, Israel granted the members amnesty in 1949. In 1980 they instituted the Lehi ribbon military decoration in support of them. In 1983 Yitzak Shamir- the former leader became primer minister of Israel.
So i think there is a lot more support for these groups than you say.
The point is that many of them left due to choice in the 20's. It was only in the 40's and 50's where this became problematic. Most of it had to do with the establishment of Israel and what was happening in that region.
Likewise, while there was some violence in Arab lands on the jewish people, similar things were happening in Israel, with the Irgun and many other zionist extremist groups. So it's important to not paint the picture so black and white.
@asaf921 I am sorry if I offended you, and I'm truly unaware that people believe those things about Israel. I meant he has been scared by years of newspaper articles where terrorists blow up innocent people on buses and sitting at cafes. I have told him those incidents don't happen anymore.

@boleyngirls Probably the case that I didet understand what you mean when you wrote it. English is not my native language I apologize (: Actually I agree with your every word.
I'd love to go to Israel but my husband wont go, he said he'll end up an organ donor. That's if they can find enough body parts to use he says. I told him he's being ridiculous as it's a beautiful and safe country to go to now, he's still not convinced.
@boleyngirls I think your husband is still living in the happy days European Middle Ages. Old-fashioned blood libel. I bet you're proud of your husband. Come to Israel just bring with you a shield to protect yureself from theyre horns. oh and bring the kids we might need them for Passover. And last tip well known thet in israel live lots of monkeys from space who came from nowhere so bring with you a lot of bananas. (: Good Day
@BakaWarsh In order to have any kind of movement in the right direction people have to accept the realities of the situation. Stop trying to discount clear known facts, such as the illegal building of settlements, or the fact that any peace deal has to be agreed upon international law. Sorry but taking land during war is a clear violation of international law. If there is any two state solution Israel has to accept to give the land back from 1967 war.
@kenzo4000 "In order to have any kind of movement in the right direction people have to accept the realities of the situation" u say this, yet no official palestinian org\authority agrees to openly acknowledge israel's right to exist.
territories taken in 67 were from egypt (gaza) & jordan (west bank) who illegally occupied it after the 1948 war. palestinians lived under their rule, not as an independent state. israel already gave back sinai peninsula for peace with egypt. wiki\Yamit
the "irgun" and leh"i did some horrible things in jewish terms, but noyhing like arab terror. They bombed a brit. Pol. Station, but called to alert bout it, and all the "retaliations" were responses to arab terrorism as slaughters, rapes of jewish women etc
I've seen videos of Gaza beach. The waves are incredible. Are Israeli allowed to use the beach at all or is it completely under "Palestinian" control?
@darmoon88 you're not fooling any one "88". your stupid numeral code is obvious to anyone who isn't a turdbrain like your wanna be riechfag friends. now go play dress up and dream of the old glory of ze fatherland somewhere else.
@holseyd Aww don't be too mad at the Egyptians. All of Egypt stood together and of one accord said, "Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party."
@TheParticleStorm Israel proposes to every ship to come to ashdod port, get checked, and then transfer their goods via trucks. the flotilla's goals r to get ships into gaza port unchecked by breaking the naval siege. once it becomes ok for every ships to dock, guns will be sneaked in eventually. if that fails (navy stops it) they wish to create provocation by causing IDF to storm civilian ships & like the marmara create casualties (even though marmara was mostly turkish mercs with clubs\knives)
@Floridians4israel Speak for yourself, I'm a Floridian and I think you're an idiot. Number 1: Newt Gingrich will never, ever be President (thank god). Number 2: Not all Floridians love Israel unconditionally. Number 3: You're still a moron.

Type in on youtube, 'Good Jews Who Refuse to Kill Palestinians' then type in 'Teddy Katz' it will show actual Israeli's who r against what Israel is doing.

BakaWarsh 7 months ago 11
@BakaWarsh WHat are you arguing about at this point? I'm pretty sure one way or another they have more right to that land, not just by the simple fact that many of them have been living on it for hundreds of years!!
If you say there is no such thing as a Palestinian, well then there is no such thing as an Israeli. Half of them are from Europe and have never been to Israel before getting the right to build their homes there! lol
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 you're misunderstanding my argument. i'm not saying there aren't any palestinians today. what i'm saying is that the existence of israel created the 2 nationalities. in 48 the israeli nationality & the palestinian nationality in 67. until those dates the rest of the world referred them by their ethnicity. only when israel took control of gaza from egypt and the west bank from jordan & the arabs came under israel's rule they were dubbed as a nationality and not only ethnicity.
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh Officially speaking the Palestinian people were not reffered to as such before the dates you mentioned. You are a right about that. But the people living in that region before these dates still had their own ethnic nationality, it just might not have been officially recognized by the international court.
Either way, i'm not sure why you are bringing this up. Because from your previous reply it seems to me that you are trying to justify what is happening by delitimizing them
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 just to be clear, the "until those dates" line refer both to jews & arabs
Look, the majority of israelis r pro 2-states. but we don't want a neighbouring failed state. Palestinian territories right now have the infrastructure for a self maintained state & can probably procure aid. But it also has a terrorist faction - Hamas (+uncontrolled cells) as the stronger faction. It's cut off into 2 parts (a major problem).religious factions from both sides r going to bicker over jerusalem.
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh A large amount of Israeli citizens might want a two state solution, but that doesn't mean the government does. The fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization is really just an excuse. If they did not want to work with terrorists then why did they work with Hamas before when Arafat was in power? It's not like they were any less radical in the past.
As for Jerusalem it is quite simple. East Jerusalem belongs to Palestine, it is colonized territory.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh At least from the Israeli side, until they accept going back to pre 1967 borders there cannot be any two state solution. International law has to be upheld, otherwise it is a joke. At least agree with me on that aspect.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 i already said. i live within the green line. i don't give a shit about gaza, just as long as they stop sending suicide bombers or launching rockets, technically israel is already out of gaza. yes it is under naval and economical siege, but the IDF only comes in to take down operatives and there aren't any settlements. the west bank lines are needed to be revised and readjusted to modern reality, but other then that, sure give it back as long that they demilitarize.
BakaWarsh 7 months ago

kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh No it is not. Genetic studies show this. Do you think the old population completly disapeard no they intermarried and assimilated with other cultures.
Modern day Palestenians do have a large extent of there herritage from the ancient levant. Your argument assumes that all ancient population disapeard without a trace and that counters all history.
Just like Lebanese people to an extent descend from Phonecians, Palestenians descent to a large extent but complety from the ancients.
Eopyk 7 months ago
@Eopyk palestinians, like many of the arab muslim cultures that exist today, are descendants of the arabs who lived in what is today saudi arabia, who spread out through the middle east and north africa during the age of muslim conquests and pilgrimages. (starting around 630 AD), after the byzantine and the roman empires before it conquered it and sacked most of it. the same occurred with most empires that conquered israel since the Babylonians and until the ottomans.
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@Eopyk P2
saying the palestinians are descendants of philistines is false. it's like saying that the arabic Persians today are descendants of the Babylonian Persians that lived there originally, people from egypt are descendants of the ancient Egyptians, or Greece today are descendants spartans&athenians. your genetic "studies" is a total fib. documented history shows the shifts (& eradication) of peoples living in the Mediterranean area. muslims didn't intermarriage back then. it was forbidden.
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh No that is a grand missunderstanding. You see the original Arabs where a small population . They could not replace the entire population. They could how ever trough conversion to Islam culturaly arabise the population and with political elites this was possible. By learning the quran and political and economic benifets people adapted the arabic language and to an extent identity mixed with migration and intermarriage. To an extent Palestenians do descend from the ancients.
Eopyk 7 months ago
@Eopyk You are forgetting about fertility rates. The population tends to grow quite a lot when the average woman has 5-6 kids.
kenzo4000 7 months ago

Eopyk 7 months ago
@Eopyk Yea i know, but you are talking about hundreds of years. In some case thousands of years. I could have more middle eastern blood than many of the jewish people growing up in Europe. For all i know my ancestors could have come from the middle east.
At this point these genetic connections are almost non existent. The only people that could have real links are the middle eastern jews.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
P2 The point was to say where the name Palestine comes from.
Eopyk 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh So how come they didn't call themselves 'Palestinians' until 1967?
emmaford32 7 months ago
@emmaford32 between 48-67 they were under jordan's & egypt's control (west bank\gaza). knowing themselves that they were descendants of jordanians, egyptians & syrians they had no need to for a national identity. when israel took the land from jordan & egypt they had a problem with their new illegal ruler. the creation of the palestinian identity was in order to wage a global camaign for awareness of their "plight" & to have a country according to the 67 lines, a proposal only they turned down
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh Are you saying that before 1948 they had a national identity which they lost between then & 1967? If, as you say, they were akin to the Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians, why did their brethren keep them in appalling conditions and refuse to help them? Israel did not take the land, she won the territory in a defensive war which under international law which makes her presence there legal. They are not interested in a 2 state solution based on any lines but a one state solution.
emmaford32 7 months ago
It’s wrong to apply the word “palestinians” exclusively to arabic population of Holy Jewish Land (aka “palestine” , if u prefer to name it so) because many nations coexist in this territory :

@kenzo4000 The Kibbutz was, the smallest among those organizations. I know about it only because I read a (very interesting) book about the Shochat couple.
I think that "the best defense is attack" phrase is true, but not right. there are sayings in both sides of the argument which are silly and incorrect, but to argue that "the other side has those sayings, so it has no right to talk about our sayings" in the debate is a run out of the point (points?). Look for the "good ears", or stop talking.
DrLening 7 months ago
@DrLening I don't understand your comment about "the other side has those sayings" Were you reffering to my comment when i said quite a lot of people here were being racist and discriminatory? I agree that both sides can be hateful, not going to argue there. But that doesn't mean we just brush those things aside. Racism and hatefulness should be exposed and there is nothing wrong with pointing out peoples hypocrisy.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 I didn't want you to use the hypocrisy of individuals as an argument in the debate.
we have learned in the history class that there were much less then 1 million Arabs in Israel those days, though there were much more Arabs than Jews (the 80 thousands may sound right). I am not sure, but when one historian says the there were 400,000 Arabs in Israel in the end of the 19th century, and the other says 100,000 - you can understand my skepticism about information of that kind.
DrLening 7 months ago
@DrLening Sorry i confused the dates. You are right there was not 1 million Arabs then. I have checked several sites and most state 600 thousand and up, and most agree that it was not lower than 500 thousand. My mistake, but either way you can see that there was a very significant Palestinian presence at the time.
The 100 thousand is a blatant lie. Even on Israels government website it will state 600 thousand.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 You misunderstood me - by late 19th century there were aruond 100,000 or 400,000 Arabs here, and you referred to the twenties of the 20th century. By the way, remember that the First Aliyah (sound terrible in English, isn't it?) increased the number of Jews in Israel from about 25,000 lived in poverty to about 55,000 lived in greater poverty. We've learned that the Arab society began to increase as a permanent settlement in Israel any place where Jewish lousy farmers gave them work.
DrLening 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 in no comment concerning the exodus have i claimed that jews in arab lands were rounded up and mass murdered. however, saying that no discrimination & violence toward jewish communities occurred post 48 is ignorant as well.
if it'll make u fee better, i can talk about the many chances both sides missed for reaching an agreement since as early as '37 & up to '08.
as for labeling, i already explained. the "zionism" you refer to as a derogatory is not the zionism most pro\israelis are
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh I never said that there was no discrimination and violence toward jewish communities pre or post ww2. But right now they are a tiny minority is most Arab lands.
As for both sides missing chances. WHy do you keep focusing on 1947, past 1967 it was Israel that denied any chance of a 2 state solution. They were not interesting in it. If you want a pretty good explanation on what was happening listen to Norman Finkelstein, he can explain it much better than i can.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 as for racism - it exist everywhere in the world, it is part of fear misunderstanding. you think that palestinians don't chant "itbach al yahud" and other stuff - not just hamas, but many people within gaza and the west bank, as well as people outside israel. still as i have said, majority of israelis know that most palestinians are good people and islam is not a violent religion. just like groups in US&europe want certain ethincal immigrants out, doesn't make all people there racists
BakaWarsh 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh I completly agree with your on the racism comment. Majority of Israeli and Palestinians are good people, judaism and islam are both great religions. I never argued otherwise. I was simply talking about the hateful people who make these kind of racist comments.

In any serious study of the exodus, nowhere would it say that the jews were expelled, because the largest amount of them left on their own accord. Many were evacuated and most desired to live in the state of Israel.
The hate and violence that some incurred in Arab lands is entirely seperate and for the most part substantially lower in number to the terrorism afflicted by zionist extremist groups such as Irgun.
kenzo4000 7 months ago

That is not to say that one can accept the terrorism happening in all other Arab nations.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh You are right when you say that they came by tens of hundred in the 1920's when the mandate for Israel was first passed. But lets face it majority of the people came after WW2 and in the first few years they did come in the hundreds of thousands. Coicedently the majority of terrorism afflicted upon the jewish people occured from 1948 on and majority of the jewish population in the Arab lands left post WW2.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh But you are trying to paint this picture as if the majority of these things happened in early 20th century and the jewish population had to leave for Israel Post WW2 because of all the persecution. No the real exodus was happening during the mass immigrations post WW2.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh So if the majority of this stuff was happening during the mass immigrations to Israel post WW2, was the immigrations a result of persecution or due to the establishment of the Israeli state?? Obviously the latter and to say that the jews in Arab lands had to leave because they were being prosecuted for the previous 20 years is just ignorant.
You are making it seem as if they had their own holocaust in the middle east decades before the mass immigrations.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 just search "History of the Jews under Muslim rule" in wikipedia and spicifically read the sections "Early Modern Period" and "19th century" and tell me that jews left arab countries just out of zionistic aspirations...
imunick2 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh In most Arab lands the jewish people wanted to leave. In 1948 the Iraq government actually forbade the emigration of jewish people on the grounds that allowing them to go to Israel would strenghten that state.
Look i'm not justifying the terrorism afflicted upon jewish populations in Arab lands in any way, but i think you are trying to illustrate a very different and innacurate narrative.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@BakaWarsh I find it funny how everytime i talk to someone with your views they always want to go back to 1948. It's as if they know they don't have much of an argument when talking about the situation now or anytime after 1967 war, so they go back to the furthest they can.
Also, i read your other comment saying how me and the other guy love to label those with opposiong views as "zionists, terrorists etc.." But take a good look at some of the comments here, including favoureted comments.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@kenzo4000 I know about the Kibbutz (another secret organization), the Irgun and the Lehi. The last two were a persecuted minority in the Jewish community and the Hagana and most of the people acted against them.
I've read that about 12,000 Jews came to Israel before the great masses of the first days of Israel, and after few Pogroms (Farhud, for example?). Correct me.
DrLening 7 months ago
@DrLening The interesting thing about these zionist organizations is that there seemed to be a lot more opposition from the jewish population towards them in the past. Now many praise them and their actions. For example Tivni Livni doesn't believe they were a terrorist organization. Both of her parents were a part of it. You can actually find the video where she she says they were not terrorist on youtube.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@DrLening As for 12,000 jewish coming to Israel before the great masses, i don't know that is possible. I never denied that there was immigration to Israel before post ww2, it's just that the masses came after that time. The fact that at least half the population is of European descent should be indication that the majority came post ww2.
I'm going to have to check the population statistics, its hard to get proper numbers but i'm sure there is a reliable place to find them.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
@DrLening Also the Lehi group, Israel granted the members amnesty in 1949. In 1980 they instituted the Lehi ribbon military decoration in support of them. In 1983 Yitzak Shamir- the former leader became primer minister of Israel.
So i think there is a lot more support for these groups than you say.
kenzo4000 7 months ago
The point is that many of them left due to choice in the 20's. It was only in the 40's and 50's where this became problematic. Most of it had to do with the establishment of Israel and what was happening in that region.
Likewise, while there was some violence in Arab lands on the jewish people, similar things were happening in Israel, with the Irgun and many other zionist extremist groups. So it's important to not paint the picture so black and white.

If there is any two state solution Israel has to accept to give the land back from 1967 war.

the "irgun" and leh"i did some horrible things in jewish terms, but noyhing like arab terror.

@holseyd Aww don't be too mad at the Egyptians. All of Egypt stood together and of one accord said, "Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party."

Query, Did they find guns on the last flotilla that Israel stopped?
In any case this is fucking hilarious.
TheParticleStorm 7 months ago
@TheParticleStorm Israel proposes to every ship to come to ashdod port, get checked, and then transfer their goods via trucks. the flotilla's goals r to get ships into gaza port unchecked by breaking the naval siege. once it becomes ok for every ships to dock, guns will be sneaked in eventually. if that fails (navy stops it) they wish to create provocation by causing IDF to storm civilian ships & like the marmara create casualties (even though marmara was mostly turkish mercs with clubs\knives)
