Thank you. I just referenced pug photos for proportion. The pug was made with strips of cardboard glued together that you can see at 2:53. One strip of cardboard can become the spine, then I make rings (like ribs) to fill the body shape. I build the legs as if they were intersecting ellipsoids. As I built major body parts, I leave gluing major joints for last so that I can fine tune their positions.
