@RugejaBabe When i first got them done, i wasnt used to it plus it was very tight so yea they were heavy at first. I had a stiff neck for 3 days. But you definitely get used to it...it feels as light as a feather on my head now lol.

u paid 80 dollars!!!!!OMG it's very expensive here in France it's about 35,40 euros so around 50dollars i should come in the us to braid to make much money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!! By the way u look so beautiful with those braids love it.

@savane Well it would have been $100-$120 if i had went to another African braiding shop, but the shop i went to, I've been going there for years so I'm like family to them, which is why they charged me $80 :) And thanks for the compliment :)

@savane yes it cost me $150 for this style which i used to wear every 3-4 months for two years my hair grew like crazy BUT I had to travel to DC or MD...and when it came time to take them out it took me 3 days with no help...I now get tree braids only I pay the same amount kinda the $50 is the tip i always leave so i pay $100 but the shop is in VA up the road from my home.

@virgivane Yea I am trying to attempt to transition right now but if i feel like its too hard, theres always that option of going back to relaxed hair. But I'm going to try to keep my hair in braids or weaves so that i wont be tempted to go back to a relaxer any time soon.

@cecinia23 Yea its great...I always try to protect my hair in the winter because the cold weather could be very harsh to your hair.
