the original game was side-scroll, it wouldn't make sense for this one to be free-roam. It's a side-scroller remade into a semi-3D, I think. not 100% sure though, as the games in the mail.

the water effect is the same as in most games until they can get something better

the water effect is caused by 2 layers overlaping and being a form of transparent blue hue. then setting the layers to zig zag or rock, or sometimes just loop in one direction.

The water at 34 is the best looking water I'v seen yet in a game. Better than Bioshock even, and it's whole premise was about water!

For some reason, the whole trailer just struck me as eye candy. I can't go into detail about all the mathmatical formulas in the water or whatever, but I just like the look of the whole thing. At 34, the water appears to sway and ripple pretty realistically, and it reflects realistically also. I just hope this isn't CG:)

Wonderful game, the org BC was by far one of the most well thought out and planned NES games of all time. And shame on you for putting down the music, org 8bit theme music reflavored for this next gen = win.

Not like the xbox live kiddies with all there "zomg Halo3zzzz" deserve such a beautiful game as this, blah.
