@sendelani I tend to do that differently every time we play this song (a lot). Basically, you just improv off of a major E scale. Open E string followed by a D - E hammer-on on the A string. Throw in a few fifths (A) to fill the line. You can also play around with some arpeggios in E on the higher registers.

Yes. 1987 Series I 4 string. I also have a 5 string Series II that I used in one of these videos.
