This is a good video but I would like to know where those rolling fields or hills are that was shown around the 3.15 mark, and they certainly glossed over the downtown area which in my opinion has gone downhill with no signs of improvement! Also I agree with the comments posted that they should have shown more about how multi-cultural the community is. I think the town is much more run down than this video shows, but if they want to attract business here they have to gloss over some things! lol

lol @ that people who think we hide the migrant workers. Come here any day in the late afternoon and they are EVERYWHERE. A lot of them do their shopping after work and you can always find them out and about town.

The question is, why do we have so many migrant workers in Leamington or for that matter, in Canada? They're the only ones that want to work!  I don't see any "white" Leamington teenagers in this video working in the tomatoes. Our young people that are all driving daddy's car and dirt bikes are too lazy to work. They're off discovering themselves or backpacking across the country. Get to work and get a life and stop letting other people do your work for you!

@sentry777 I tried to get a tomato processing job but transportation was not provided and they expected us to work until october. so many teenagers including myself had to resort to corn detasseling where a bus ride was provided and work ends in august. plus you have to be at least 16, whereas for corn you only have to be 13, so they can get more applicants.

There are nearly 7000 migrant farm workers in Leamington, from Jamaica, Thailand, Mexico and now Guatemala and the Phillippines that the greenhouse industry depends for its "competetivity" but conveniently migrant workers are always hidden and kept to the margins in the community in which they live and work....this is the white Leamington and the lies people tell themselves about their small town!

To bad theyre closed 90% of the time due to high bacteria counts.. Haha Ive lived outside of Leamington my whole life.. All Ive seen is it turn to crap.. The violence has risen the crime has risen and just the general look of the town is not as it use to... .. Wheres the video that tells EVERYTHING about leamington??

Thanks for posting this great video. I moved from Leamington to Edmonton way back in 78, my how things appear to have changed. I will never forget the beautiful summers!.. Thanks again
