@ninetysixGroup In case you haven't figured it out. The locators are the 2 flag like objects that create the blue (or red) surface between their distances at the top of your screen on the timeline. If you set them so that the first one is right where you want the song to begin and the second one is where you want it to end and the distance between is blue, it will export just the amount that you have your locators set to.
he please write a name program for convert npr file into wave file please sow that way i can listen my songs also throw another player like pro pleaseeeeeeee
make sure that u click on the real time export because u still loose fidelity if u dont use real time export trust me makes a huge difference in mastering...
HEY I AM USING NUENDO 3 WITH A USB MIC.WHEN I USE MY MONITOR BUTTON.AND I START SINGING IT'S LIKE A HALD A SEC TO A SEC LATE..HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM
when i go to file export.then i go to audio mixdown.i name my file..sample is 44.100khz.stero interlieved.when i go to save for the wave format it does not do anything.it's not saving for me to burn it to a cd
Hey man your videos are helpful i just have a question when i exported my project it burned a cd but the volume of the cd is really low low how do i increase it on the cd?
ok i have this big issue to understand pretty well. why render a mixdown at 16b/44.1k why not 32b/96k? doesn't mastering engineer bring the resolution down to 16b/44.1k
44.1k is favorable due to the Shannon-Nyquist theorem which is relevant to the reconstruction of analog signals from digital samples. It states that a frequency can be perfectly reconstructed if the sample rate is at least twice as fast as the highest frequency. Since the human ear cannot hear higher than 20kHz, a sample rate above 40kHz can be perfectly reconstructed. Additionally, 16b/44.1 allows 15-20 tracks to fit in a single compact disc, which had much to do with today's audio standards
I have found that if your going to render its best to not lower the resolution render it at what ever the session was recorded at. this way Nuendos Dither or means of dithering does not bother your mix! If your advanced enough you can take main outs using a console route the mix back into a stereo channel with in nuendo using some onboard eqs!
But dont exceed -6 db leave headroom for a real mastering engineer!
I have a question on mixdown. I read somewhere in a book on Nuendo that when you want to mixdown you have to use the UV22hr feature (in other menu)before you mix down on audio export to 16 bit 44.1
I have a question: When I use Nuendo to mixdown I get to the part when you mention the output "Sterio Bus" but I dont seem to have that option It give me the options of ASIO media driver and the name of the wav file I imported into Nuendo. Anyways I named the file goofoff as a test mixdown but when I go to save it keeps saying "an error occured during export" can some one give me some advice please!
CODEESTREETZ: If you record at 32bit and export your file to 32bit you are safe. Then master the file in WavLab 6.... or try this!! CUBASE OR NUENDO MASTERING: Master fader Mastering tip right from your mix! 24bit-48k project? ok lets do this.. Try to keep the clipping at bay then use this setup. MASTER FADER Insert 5: EQ (use your fav. 4 band EQ) Insert 6: Stereo Expander width set from 100 to 130% Insert 7: Old Multiband Comp. (Try the FM preset) Insert 8: UV22HD set to 16bit DONE!
listen, this is good basic stuff. As u mentioned in tha uva video, u shudnt hav clip on red because it means sumfins too loud but wen u mixdown on nuendo the track is really low, below industry standards. what do u do to keep tha song as loud as proffesional tracks...i burn my cd in cd arkitek aswel so i think that mite help
The instrument are diferent. Can you help me with this problem. I don't want to be looking for the instrument everytime I open nuendo.

right click on the recording, process and stereo flip- form whichever side to stereo. :)
addzj 1 year ago
@basic61647 That's becase there is no such thing as a "stereo mic" Mics are always mono input. Thats why you only hear it on one side.
GospelProgressions 1 year ago
@GospelProgressions they're somo ribbon mics that are stereo...very expensive though

it's not hard to take care of your comp so it doesn't end up behaving like his.

i got a question bruh i record some of my songs on mono tracks and i burn on'em to a cd on mono! is it better to do them stereo? if so why?
tonyt0n 3 years ago
cause you got 2 ears and 2 speakers!
nisgia 3 years ago
Mono- 2 speakers play the same sound.
Stereo- 2 speakers cab play seperate things.
stereo is usefull cause if you have severeal sounds going on you can pan them from speaker to speaker, making the song unique

You can put a waves L1,L2,L3 on the bus,
that will control your overs and give you a good final level just dont over do it. Give your self some dynamic Room let it breath a bit.
