  • @power of prelude. Im a marine and my brother is a di right now parris island

  • hey guys i want to know if you have any tips on making my parents feel better about me joining....i want to join the marines next year when i graduate. i told my parents and they are not happy about it. i tryed asking on yahoo answers but everyone was a smart ass and said marines are stupid cuz they piss on dead people. so please guys if you have any ideas or want to share your experiance with me i would appreciate it. i know the choice is mine but i dont want to disrespect my parents. Thanks

  • Dam bootcamp looks like it's goin to be insane I'm excited as hell but nervous as a mother bleeper haha I'm suppose to leave feb 14th 2012 is there any good pointers I should have

  • Hell no you get one phone call when you first arrive to let someone in ur family know that you are there. You read it off of a piece of paper if you say anything that's not on the paper they hang up the phone. It's not like any other bootcamp in the US.

  • Hell no, you don't get any calls except when u first arrive and its a 10 second call that you read off a paper if you try to say something that's not on the paper they hang up the phone. No other boot camp in the US is like it.

  • Can they use cellphones to call home more then once like in the army bct

  • @july272727 nope, and that was BS about the 1 fone call home, i never got that expect for libo sunday after training was over

  • Can they have there cell phones now to make calls home

  • i ship off august 20th, 2012.. excited and nervous at the same time. though i am kinda glad i get the summer before i go and will be nice weather during training ^^

  • @S2theMiL3 Stay motivated. The summer fucking sucks cause of the heat casualties and sand fleas. But mini all that stay outta trouble try to get some good people to join up as well. If you got any questions feel free to ask

  • i hate people who think the branches train the same or any branch whatsoever train like marines...... SEMPER FI!!!

  • @reyex50 & @ludwiggreensparkle me too, time needs to go faster

  • Wow first video I ever watched in 120p.

  • @compguy531 lol

  • It's not just this recruit its also these recruits and those recruits.

  • I want to become a marine. I may join them soon.

  • @artwallis Yeah but at what cost? Fool is a sleeper cell, when you have a President that send's Aerospace technology and equipment to Syria on Feb 17th 2009, which is less then a month of being a President then he is a traitor. Why would he send that to a country that Burn's our flag. Or when he says that our Constitution is outdated, meaning he want's to change it. Solders take a oath to defend this nation and its Constitution, i just hope they remember that when the time comes..

  • @zyou8er Soldiers are still soldiers because they follow orders from their CO no matter what the order is. It's what makes them soldiers.

  • "Toughest" is an opinion.

To someone with less intelligence Air Force BCT would be considered the toughest.

  • @bbrain2 You are right. Toughest IS only an opinion. Non of the Armed Services are a walk in the park. All of the men and women of our military worked hard to get there and we can all be thankful for what they do.

  • @bbrain2 russian spetsnaz is probably the toughest

  • @rollthelosingdice your mother is the toughest.

  • @bbrain2 I think SERE and Pararescue has some crazy PT. I got a book with the workouts but only the airforce does every exercise till you have nothing left. no reps in there workouts.

  • semper fi and OOrah Lcpl. Estrada!

  • Thats why im in jrotc

  • i like how when she said intense physical exercise they were just jogging like 2 miles an hour lol

  • Comment removed

  • @Vicarious1289 awesome my dude, maybe ill cya then, not that we'd know haha

  • Cant wait to earn the title...what will all of you do with your lives? Excluding the the Marines that already posted...a man willing to fight, serve, and lay his life down for his country will accomplish many more triumphts then the coward and self centered man that stay home planning his life

  • Marines r ready to die for their country but soldiers will make sure that the enemy will die for theirs.

  • This video and its comments are very helpful thank u all.

i have enlisted into bootcamp. im joining the millitary after that

  • I agree (90%) with Lcpl. Estrda en again if it werent for our US Navy there would be no US Marines... But our armed forces work together too deffend these ppl on well fare and shit that dnt desever half it.. My husband is a US Marine and im iin The US Navy..

  • oct 24!! im so ready...anybody else leaving in october?

  • my brother said his platoon wasnt allowed to use skud brushes cuz someone got hurt real real bad when he was sprinting down the deck with it and smashed his head open

  • You idiots have no idea what your getting yourselves into lol....Oh well. Dont say some of us didnt try to warn you.

  • @TheBlayzinAsian420 No we do have an idea because they ask us a thousand different questions when we go to sign, ask us many different ways if we're afraid to kill someone, if something prevents us from killing someone and many different questions about are past. Plus not to mention the physical on steroids that you get to make sure you can join, we know what we're getting ourselves into =)

  • Im going there in October

  • I ship Valentines Day, I have been waiting a long time for this

  • @hempknight15 Let us know how it worked out! ^_^

  • Man that shit was a fucking reality check from hell. If anybody here went through 3rd BN, I give you props. If you didnt, well then you dont even know how to spell fucking difficult. I was part of Insane India, platoon 3034. Our company was the last to step foot out of old school 3rd BN, and our platoon broke, and took, initial drill and final drill, and set a new record for the CFT, 3034 best fucking platoon of parris island

  • @hempknight15 Nicely done! I don't know how much that will be worth when you get to the fleet but I'm sure it'll benefit you down the road. Like a tree that bears good fruit if you get my drift.

  • @hempknight15 Semper Fidelis to you,my friend.I reported to MCRD San Diego in June of '75.believe me,it wasn't any kind of cakewalk by any stretch. My dad was a cannon-cocker at 29 Palms during Korea,I just missed vietnam era vet status by a month. My son,Josh, took a different turn,he joined the Army and ended up as a Special Forces Medic [3rdBn5th SFG]with two tours in the sandbox..Thanks for your service.......Semper Fidelis

  • I came in the Marine Corps at 137 Pounds. When I left OCS I was 185 pounds of Pure Muscle. When my Family ran off the Bleachers to Congraduate me they coulden't find me because of all the Muscle mass I took on. I said "Hey Mom!" She turned around in shock. The First words she said was "Batman!" (My nickname) "You look huge"! Said Mom. My dad was standing behind my Mom all laughing and said how I reminded him back in his days when he was only a Lcpl in 1982 hes 49 now.

    Capt. McInnis

    1/6 USMC

  • @MrPoppernickel You put on 48 lbs.??? In how much time? How much time did you have to hit the weights and how much was your protein & caloric intake? I'm just curious that's all?

  • @billyjacc Nothing really. Just'd workout. Ate a Apple here and their, drank some water all that healthy stuff. Nothing to complicated.

  • @MrPoppernickel That's cool..

  • ugh..... The Mariana Islands (The event at 2:30) is no fucking joke lol. that shit sucked.

  • @theblazinasian420. Your a fucking idiot. U are the dumbest zipper ever. Our country doesnt care about us. Fuck u. They dont care about u cause yur a dumb fuck zip. My brother is a marine u arrogant fuck. He fights for your fucking freedom. Dick head

  • Hey im a 5'3 male and i realy want to be a marine. But do you guys think im too short to become a marine

  • @jkh301 Of course not. The Lowest Height requirement is 5'0. You'll be fine.

  • I have been here for 3 weeks now. It is real hard but getting through it. My rooms are quite nice , with a view of the beach. We get to finish training at 3 PM and usually get some time to surf with Dave our DI , but we have to get back for 7PM , so not too many beers.

  • first battalion,1053,01May-1988-29Dec92"..3rd Battlaion,8th Marines,2nd Battalion,2nd Marines...Milt,ask about me...

  • Many people join the usmc who cant swim. It is all about being confident in the water and it is not really about being a good swimmer. As long as you can float and move from point A to point B without spazzing out, then you can pass the swim qual. It is not hard at all.

  • do not join... end of fucking story

  • Fuck you, dumbshit liberal. Here's an idea. Get the fuck out of the country. America doesn't want you.

  • i would become a marine but i cant swim..

  • @kevbe144 learn its not hard

  • @afropana1 If you die in the United States Marine Corps I is far from for nothing. Marines die every day defending YOUR freedom in this country so you can go on youtube and say stupid crap like that. The Marines that have the courage, strength, and ability to be called Marines know exactly what they're doing when they enlist and are damn aware of the fact that it's not a game. So when you go to sleep at night you think of the Marines that are dying for YOU.

  • @afropana1 when joining the marines you must fully understand that death is a possiblity and be willing to accept it

  • My bro just graduated from here and he told me a few things he hated the Drill instructors and its not what you will ever think it is

  • Who the hell did this story? She sounds ignorant. What the hell? did she find every immigrant to interview? ahh..VOA News...Voice of America. Tells me everything I need to know. I've got some good boot camp stories.

  • @shawndw1000 There's that bigoted inbred swine talk I remember. Spoken like a true marine.

  • @afropana1 there's that politically correct liberal nutjob...spoken like a true nut that would go out and shoot pple.

  • Wonder how all that Depleted Uranium is treating is treating those guys lol. Not to worry, they'll find out soon enough when they come home to fuck their wives and witness their first born have fucked up physical and mental features :) Your Government doesnt give two shits about you guys, and the sad part is, its obviously apparent.

  • @TheBlayzinAsian420 stupid gook. shut up.

  • @TheBlayzinAsian420 Depleted uranium has ZERO radioactivity. Its a heavy metal. Unless you breath smoke from it burning right under your nose there is NO possibility of it harming you......NONE.

  • @maxximumforce "The aerosol is produced during impact and combustion of depleted uranium munitions can potentially contaminate wide areas around the impact sites leading to possible inhalation by human beings." ~Wikipedia, as well as Top US Army Scientists.

  • @maxximumforce You are incorrect, depelted uranium is slightly radioactive but radioactive enough to cause serious illnesses.

  • Can't support any organization that endorses "not thinking"

  • Marines somebody had got to do it.

  • @afropana1 You idiot! Are you crazy? You must be yellow.

  • @jimmyq265 Is that what you think when you read my comment.? Then I conclude you must not be familiar with the military. If I were to read that comment I think that person has a lot knowledge of intimate knowledge about the subject, but hey read it how you will

  • lol, I had a platoon of 74, but we graduated with 59 original due to injuries. I think we had about 7 pick ups mostly from hotel hell and 3rd battalion

  • it make me sad that i fight for dumb asses like organic soul jazz. your fat and or liberal or maybe both. i doubt that you would even make it through recieving week. ( if you dont know what that is look it up) as far as brain washing. fuck no we just look at things a different way. a lot of things wouldnt be if it werent for the MARINES.

    Semper FI

    Lcpl. Estrada

  • @thisisme28 Semper Fi . . .if you guys dont like American Trained Marines feel free to go to another country!! Marines dont die we go to hell and Re-Group!!

  • @lcplpeetjr oohrah devildawg

  • @thisisme28 i might join....do u think i would die in boot camp? lol

  • @thisisme28 OOHRAH DevilDog

  • @thisisme28 Hell yes Sir!!! Im shipping from Fort Meade to boot sunday evening.

  • @thisisme28 well said devil dog, oooooooooorah!

  • @thisisme28 What does being a liberal have to do with anything? I'm a liberal, and fully support all of the armed forces of the U.S. People need to stop acting like liberals hate the military, because they don't. If anything, it the repubs that don't care about the troops. They just like using them.

  • @thisisme28 yes sir i will always be faithfulsir cuz i am a marine and always will be one

  • Let the brain washing begin

  • Did the narrator say 67 km? This isn't freakin' Canada

  • holy shit the guy at 2:45 is my platoon sgt.

    HEY

add me and ask questions to Diary of a terminal lance

    -0311 infantry

  • I just got back from boot camp I got a medical discharge during 2nd phase. They did not show much from the 1st phase but just let me tell you i would not even wish it on my worst enemy!

  • leave for Boot Camp August 8th

  • @datboinero15 Lil man you may want to reconsider that thought on the marines

  • @afropana1 ha. wtf. helll nawww! y on earth would i do sum like that?? and um afropana its Marines with a capital M!

  • @datboinero15 You're seriously thinking about joining. Have fun. It's not as glorious as you think Trust me!

  • @afropana1 .um. dude. I enlisted October 28, 2010 so yeah i done with thinking about it.

  • @datboinero15 You should listen to him. I wish I would hav e fully listened to people when they tried to warn me

  • @datboinero15 But what ever you've got it all figured out

  • @ORGANICsoulJAZZ yeah. and have you served in the Marine Corps before.??

  • @datboinero15 What do you think.

  • @ORGANICsoulJAZZ What If I told you the Marines have dress code. AND not just in uniform everwhere. Everytime you leave base you have fit there criteria for what they think you should look like. Have fun in prison

  • @ORGANICsoulJAZZ oh yeah i knew that

  • @ORGANICsoulJAZZ i dont know thats why i'm asking

  • @afropana1 You should listen to him. I wish I would have fully listened when someone warned me in high school, but what ever you now everything

  • gparents tried to pay my dad 10,000 dollars not to go. We are 10,000 dollars poorer.

;) I cant wait to follow up in his foot steps

  • @OrmadFilms way to go!!! Stay Focused in Boot Camp.. When times get tough. remember why your there! Failure is not an option!!

  • 64 must be nice I had 108 and we graduated 99 I should of went in the winter. Note to future recruits wait until fall to go to boot camp you will avoid the masses and the black flag weather. I'm from up north I like 50 degree whether not 105. Semper Fi devil pups!!!

  • 2 and 1/2 years left :]

  • 13weeks? pussies...

  • @Darusdei That is along with the standard bootcamp. These 13 weeks are additional.

  • im only 13 and im already thinking about joining the marines. its been in my family for a while and my grandfather graduated from parris island and im hoping to do the same OOORRRAAAHHH!!

  • My boyfriend, who's been at Parris Island since late August, graduates in one week. I can't wait to see him and I am so unbelievably proud of him :)

  • Leave in 4 days to the island !

  • @jrmac92 Good luck my man. Im going in 2 years!

  • @jrmac92 good luck!!

  • 2weeks and im going to the island. oorah

  • How long u guys who gon be deployed gon be in Iraq?

  • i should only see americans in the united states marine corps...

  • @jjd705 You do only see Americans. All recruits are citizens of the United States of America. Your should word your comment a little better as it makes you come off as a racial bigot.

  • @Vagitarian1 right on and thanks for your comment - have a cousin became a citizen and immediately enlisted - tell me that's not patriotic

  • @jjd705 idiot

  • @jjd705

    They are Americans.

Don't forget, American is a nationality, not a race. Being American doesn't automatically mean being "white." Nowadays, race doesn't define you, the country you come from does.

  • this is for any officer who will work with pow's in Afghanistan........how will you face the mentality of the Taliban if you happen to capture one? have you seen how many of them think? watch>>"The Promise (01) Signs of the Apocalypse "...........youre job will be more than putting cuffs on them! this is also a conflict of the mind and soul. careful words may gain much more than a shove in the back and harsh commands.

  • I leave March 15th 2011. Im so excited. I just hate the waiting.

  • feels good that im joining the marine corps and my bithdays november 10th

  • @taters4u Amen, my bday is November 10th too! feels good to be born on the same day that the Marine Corps was created. Semper Fi, brother!

  • @MrChuckville Hell yeah

  • @taters4u my friend, and future marine, you have the best birthday ever

  • @300MUSIC thank you i kinda like it haha

  • @taters4u I always thought it would be sweet as fuck to be a Marine with the birthday Nov 10th you lucky bastard

  • @iGOTCHOPPERS1 haha thank you have you joined yet?

  • @taters4u yezzir, bootcamp starts on VALENTINES DAY fml

  • @iGOTCHOPPERS1 dam i got like 1 year till i go good luck stay with it

  • All you that havent been through PI or Hollywood can quit saying oorah, using mos numbers , and calling themselves Marines. You arent Marines, you have no rank E-0= recruit , and you have no mos (especially all those who claim 0300 ). It annoys those of us who have earned the title.

  • @devildog1048 damn straight!

  • Jan 18th 2000. I stepped foot on Paris Island. I graduated April 14th. A day nevery forgotten

  • Why do we even let women into the military?

  • @Ghosthead32 Dude thats so fuckin sexist

  • @Ghosthead32 Fuckin Cunts
