  • I remember this from a movie in grade school

  • who else found this because they're a creepypastaholic? emails from scotland, anyone? :O

  • i watched this because of a creepypasta wiki

  • I remember watching this very segment when it originally aired in early '74.

  • Bronx 1970s heroin dealer brotha!! lol jk

  • awesome!

  • @anubethc45 His name is Rosie Grier. He was an NFL defensive lineman. Who also knits, sews, and crocehtes. He also tackled Sirhan Sirhan Robert Kennedys assasin. I think it was fitting to have someone who is seen as big and burly and in a macho profession singing a song to young boys about it being alright to cry.

  • Love the opening scene! LOL so hilarious and awkward at the same time! hahaha

  • Hard to believe from this he was a member the the L.A. Rams' Fearsome Foursome, one of the most dominant lines in NFL history.

  • @Konnerdad That was the point of using Rosie Greer as the one singing this. A big, strong, bad dude saying to kids everywhere that it is alright to cray.

  • @shelleyinthecity I think it would have been more badass to have Deacon Jones and Merlin Olsen (his fellow Fearsome Foursome teammates) join him for that. I'd be like, "Yes, sir, Mr. Jones, it's perfectly OK to cry." lol

  • Isn't it perfect how THIS song is being sung by a guy who could pretty much kick everyone's ass?

HE could make Chuck Norris cry.

  • I saw this in elementary school and always wanted in on vhs when I was a kid. I believe the teacher used one of those old film projectors with film reels and the pull up screen. Haven't seen it in about 30yrs but this song stuck in my head. Nice to know that I could find it here

  • @ecbchamp I remember those film projectors and film reels from elementary school.

  • @ecbchamp I saw this in elementary school, too!! One of the few videos from that time that got stuck in my head!

  • I grew up to this song from "free to be you and me", the DVD. We would always watch this on car rides. It was pretty awesome.

  • My dad called me a queer when I cried.

  • @Revanchist12 Your dad was right.

  • Roosevelt "Rosey" Grier (born July 14, 1932 in Cuthbert, Georgia) is an American actor, singer, Christian minister, and former professional American football player. Grier was a member of the New York Giants, and the original Fearsome Foursome of the Los Angeles Rams and played in the Pro Bowl twice.

  • This one always stayed in my head as a young boy, and I can attest to the accuracy of the message !!

  • Wanna dedicate this one to the Miami Heat.

  • Is that Randy from American Idol?
