not just land rovers though, its most cars with onboard computers, my nissan primera does the same, but unfortunatly for me the electrics isnt covered under the warrenty :-(
i work at a land rover repair shop, we are highly respected in our community here in southern california, the problem seems to be either a software problem, or possibly a fault being communicated. hvae you had a tech run testbook diag's on it??
do you just do landrover? reason why i ask is i do the same in the uk at a landrover specialist however not planning to stay in the cold forever and i like the idea of california would you reccomend the move?
Funny that "Don't Stop Believin'" comes on the 2nd time around:) at least it was funny to me.. hope you got your problem solved.. our LR3 has been a charmer for the most part
Hi, I'm a land rover technician in the UK, your problem is a software fault. Take it to your dealer, they need to download the latest level software to the head unit, touch screen and amplifier, each module will take between 30 and 45 mins to download so you'll need to leave it with them for a few hours.
Weird problem, i think maybe u played with the navigation system settings, or fuses in car, my advise to you is : go to your car dealer and let them fix it if you are still under warranty, but that is a weird problem.
