Make sure you have the chair and table, walls doors and a light source. If you have, maybe you haven't defeated skeletron by going to the cursed man??

@anonimic123 well, with ten wood you make a work bench, after that, get 20 stone 3 torches and 3 or 4 wood and make a furnace. After that get 25 iron ore i think it is, and make an anvil. Then mine things like copper,gold,silver,more iron with your ordinary pix axe make a better one soon. There are some stones that require a good pix axe as well like ebonstone (corruption stone) or hellstone/obsidian. Hope i helped man.

Skeletron is not the old man's master.. The old man was cursed to be the guardian of the dungeon untill someone could defeat the curse.

@HehNozes Well,you should find some demonite ore (I think that was the name) from corruption (eye of kthulu and eater of worlds also drop it) and shadow scale (cant find it ,you have to kill eye of kthulu or eater of worlds to get some) to make a Nightmare pickaxe.Then you will be able to mine the hellstone =] Check Yrimir's videos,he has a video on how to farm hellstone.

@themegaroseID Dryad spawns when you've killed ANY boss, not just Skeletron, while the Clothier only spawns if you've killed Skeletron. But yes, killing Skeletron will net you both of them.

@Mortadda Nothing. When you kill the King Slime he dies with him but you get one of his Clothing and you can equip it in your Vanity slot but you do have to kill him a couple of times to get each pieces of his clothing

@supermactrainer Those are sold when certain other criteria are met, I think for both of those sets the moon needs to be in a specific phase, but I am not sure what phase for what, but go check out the Terraria wiki for more information, I go there and check out anything I need :P

@badhellman actually the old man was cursed by the evil in terreria and was forced to never leave the dungeon. When you talk to him at night the evil inside him takes over him in the form of skeletron (people believe that the old man is in skeletrons skull). When killed, you release all the evil inside the old man and goes back to his life as the clothier and moves in to your village and sells you clothes. though he doesnt remember much about him being cursed, only that you saved him.

i killed skeletron on my main world before the update and have tryed to create a 2nd set of table and chairs for him and destroy and put back a spare table and chair i had placed in my house and he doesn't spawn even after i've given him a full week in game to spawn. is this a bug and if so is there anyway i can get him to spawn?

@gytukas100 i tryed that during the week i gave the clothier to spawn by diging a tunnel to hell under my house,a tunnel to the dungeon under my house, and a little dungeon exploreing whenever that got boring.i can understand the clothier not spawning while i'm working on the tunnel to the dungeon since i haven't done much as far as that goes so naturaly he wouldn't spawn there more likely than not but still that doesn't explain the dungeon or the hell tunnel (over 2000 feet deep on a large map)
