The inter/intra gang violence, over the decades, is what ruined this place. They brought in the drugs , and hooked a lot of the, government assisted, tenants.
Typically Cabrini Green and the Robert Taylor homes get all the attention, but really the Rosenwalds (47th & Michigan/Wabash) was always more intriguing than those two projects. Famous people lived in the Rosenwalds off and on; it wasn't congested at all like those two aforementioned projects, and it was more appreciative once you got inside the complex, far as the ambiance goes. I really enjoyed living there as a kid during the late 90s, just dreaded going to the Robert Taylor Homes on ocasions

Damn, who knew a trip home from Grandmas house in New Buffalo, MI could turn out to be such an exciting experience.
But blame me, I'm the one who made it this way, according to tall the other fucking Cabrini Green videos.
