Avast seems to work allot better with google chrome.I run both avast and norton and they seem to compliment each other really well.I have had no issues doing this and they don't step on each others toes at all.Maybe that's sheer luck.

Oh dude that's a big no no. Don't run two antivirus programs together, you'll end up having problems in the future even if you're not having any now. Plus they are clashing when it comes to protecting you which might lead to some viruses getting through. I recommend choosing one and adding Malwarebytes pro but never two antivirus programs together.

My current set up is Avast 6 Internet Security and Malwarebytes Pro, I have yet to get a single virus and many people use my laptop.

.I have no complaint about Avast free , only it detects nothing ,finds nothing, you as user dont know if Avast is actively scanning the webpages and downloads- you dont know nothing basicilly and cant change as much-its fast but is it useless, when you change anitvirus then they might find virus/trojans and you'll not know if it was during avast time as freeloader on your computer you were infected.

MSIE is crap, not good. I run AVAST and Malware Byte's ANTIMALWARE, which together catch everything! Malware Byte's is the only program that got rid of several spyware and adware programs that attacked my daughters computer, in fact it did so good I paid to register it. Good luck, hope that helps!

Avast is very good program. Just the free verson blows everything out of the water. What makes it stand out among the rest is the fact that every 5 weeks it changes its engine. this prog with malwarebytes you should have no problems!

I've been using Avast for years, and it is the absolute best anti-virus software on the market.

I've taken computers infected with nasty trojans that prevented the web browser from functioning (where the web browser was forced to malware sites regardless of the web site you try to go to) and ran Avast on it and it completely got rid of everything.

What Avast doesn't pick up, Ad-Aware will. The combination of these two applications will leave your computer completely virus free.

Honnestly ... For me avast suck, i downloaded project64 (A emulator of n64) and get a fucking gay virus. It take me 4 hour to download + it remove my codwaw.... :( it took me another 5 hour of patch download . Its why i hate avast. Firefox is secure and customizable but it also takes 10 seconds to start up and crashes ALOT and freezes quite a bit. Google chrome is wicked fast and is really nice and easy to use its way better then firefox it also gets perfect score on acid 3 its also really reliable and you dont have to worry about it crashing.
