Anyone that thinks Buckethead lacks emotion obviously hasn't heard enough of his music to pass judgement properly, some of Buckethead's songs would deem this emotionless. The only thing Slash has going for him is that he's older, but all he ever did was copy Joe Perry's style and make it a little bit heavier. Buckethead is much more diverse, talented and inspirational.
yeh i agree buckethead is much more technical and does very strange things with a guitar but i just love slash guitar solos more for some reason this is not bucketheads music he belongs in a band with no singing and very technical guitar solos they are both extremely talented but its hard to say who is on top but in my opinion its SLASH!! :)
i agree with u, buckethead could most prob play any of slahs's material easily over slash playing his, but this is because buckethead is a very technical guitarist. but there is no comparison when it comes to the feel/soul/emotion in the solo, true he (buckethead) hits all the notes but he doesn't execute close to how slash executes the solo.
this is what separates a legendary guitarist from a great one

Bucket head blows slash away as he is a virtuoso. yes he has been rated one of the wierdest but his all around talent to play all genre sets him apart from slash. Also he is rated as one of the top 10 guitar shredders of all time.

@MrJustindellacorte His vision is obscured by the mask and glowing eyes, his hearing is gone due to how loud the concert is and the lack of being able to separate any sounds. So he can't see or hear. It's not bad for a blind deaf person, but buckethead is much much better when he CAN see and hear, despite the seeing still being a little limited, but the eyes just push it out the window for this performance.
This band is called Amateurs And Roses... obviously there are pros, but sound pretty bad together... simple and boring drum fills like some new punk pop band, out of tone bendings and legatos, vocals detuned, and extreme gigant ego....

a lot of what was said was designed to annoy in the hope of teaching the instigator a lesson, however i stayed as close to the truth as i see it as possible "a sloppy player n mere copycat" well i dont recall saying copy cat i think it was along the lines of a "poor mans" ect ect .i do feel there is some truth in it .and its true i feel in comparison to some, BH is occasionally sloppy in his lead playing .if you cant hear it then i cant convince you but it does not make the point invalid.

Bucket head blows slash away as he is a virtuoso. yes he has been rated one of the wierdest but his all around talent to play all genre sets him apart from slash. Also he is rated as one of the top 10 guitar shredders of all time.

I like Guns since...well...ever. Axl once had the most spetacular voice of the planet! But aging gets everyone. It just does. His voice isn't the same, but as long as he proves that his spirit isn't following the same path, Guns N' Roses will be a great band!

@MrJustindellacorte His vision is obscured by the mask and glowing eyes, his hearing is gone due to how loud the concert is and the lack of being able to separate any sounds. So he can't see or hear. It's not bad for a blind deaf person, but buckethead is much much better when he CAN see and hear, despite the seeing still being a little limited, but the eyes just push it out the window for this performance.

this is the first time i have watched and listened to the NEW GNR and i got to say i was wrong about Buckethead.I still think that Slash is better but i love Buckethead.

this guns sucks, finck sucks, the legend of guns n roses is a band who had axl, slash, duff, izzy or gilby, steven or matt. axl, you fucked the guns with your ego, you're a fucking amazing singer, but your ego destroyed the gunners hope.

@MrKinosagi This lineup was never tight sounding like they are now. I think Fink,Rose and Buckethead are great songwriters,I think Chinese was very great and underated. As for Ego's i'm not sure. At least Rose gave me an autograph and took a picture with me and the girlfriend,Slash snubbed us.
